Position: Head of Infrastructure & Security, Development and IT Services (April 2018 – Present)

Currently leading the implementation and adaption of ISO 27001: 2022 standards to the whole IT
organization of ACEN group of companies. Lead several projects that enable ACEN group to adapt to the
new normal. Pushed for and implemented the cloud first mentality that enables the organization to be as
agile as possible without risking confidentiality, integrity and availability of the internal resources.
Institutionalized the IT Security policy as the guiding principle for all IT related activities and processes.

Pro-V International (Semco Maritime Inc.)

Position: Lead System Administrator (April 2011 – January 2016)

Part of the pioneer team of IT Operations group here in Manila for Semco Maritime. Promoted and asked to
lead the team after a year. From there on, lead the organization in Manila and convince offshore stakeholders to
transfer several more responsibilities to the Manila team resulting in growing the team from the initial count of 3
headcounts to 8 headcounts with different skills level. Institutionalized the performance review process and identified
the KRA/KPI that reflected the overall goals of Semco Maritime.

Telus International Philippines

Position: Windows Server Administrator (August 2009 – March 2011)

Awarded as one of the Top performer for the fourth quarter of 2010 and First quarter of 2011.

Lead the transition of patching of external servers from On-Shore to Off-Shore. The project involves liaising
with on-shore contacts and make sure that the requirements are understood by Off-shore staff. Involve in the planning
stages to actual implementation. Furthermore, monitoring and providing further improvements on the process are
being handled.

Design and develop Time Tracker program – the program is a online Bundy clock system. The Time Tracker
program was used for real time monitoring of attendance of a team. The program enables the IT director to see the
Time In and Time Out of individual employee.

Anthem Solutions

Position: Senior System Administrator (September 2008 – August 2009)

Project Delivered:

Anti-Virus Implementation:

Spearheaded a team of 3 System Administrators and several desktop engineers to implement the McAfee anti-virus
on client’s desktops and servers. The project involves 31 servers and around 200 desktops. Furthermore, the project
requires that all servers and desktops are daily updated. Provide accurate reports on the Anti-Virus status of all servers and
desktops to the client.

WSUS Patch Implementation:

Lead the team that implements the WSUS patch deployment server for a client. Make sure that all workstations and
servers are updated with the latest patch from Microsoft. Plan, proposed and implement the WSUS server and deployment.

Pacific International Inc.,

Position: System Administration (September 2005 – August 2008)

Planned and implemented the company’s IT infrastructure. Lead a team of two technicians to
complete the project. The project involves, creating the design and presenting the design to company’s
CEO and CFO for approval. It also involves liaising with several vendors to procure the needed hardware
and software. Evaluates different hardware and software that met the required specification and budget
of the company. Educate users on the new system implemented.

Integrated the company’s accounting system with the new infrastructure implemented. The project
involves coordinating with the software support staff.
Accenture – Manila Delivery Center

Position: Software Engineer (September 2003 – August 2005)

Accenture Manila Off-shore team member under Customer Statement team project of SEI.
Performed program enhancement and development using FORTRAN,COBOL/DB2/CICS. Performed
program development and enhancement using RDEF and SPECTR programming language for
Customer Statement Team. Performed Unit/System testing and Technical Design for customized & new
programs. Created quotes for project estimation and work authorization. Performed project sleuth &
scoping analysis for product and custom projects. Performed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and program
documentation.

Webcast Technologies Inc.

Position: Design Engineer (April 2002 – August 2003)


Projects:
VPS Track Me project – this project developed a device to prevent car theft by disabling the
engine given a command from the owner’s mobile phone. This device also enables the owner to unlock
or lock the door of the car using the owner’s mobile phone. The owner will also be informed if the car
alarm had been triggered using SMS. The owner also has the ability to track the location of his/her car
using SMS. The technology used GPS and SMS. This product is already installed on different high end
cars.

SecureME project – this device helps secure fixed asset through the use of SMS and different
sensors installed in different areas of the asset.
