A RESOLUTION REQUESTING HONORABLE GOVERNOR ARTHUR R. DEFENSOR JR. TO ALLOCATE

BUDGET FOR THE CONTINUATION OF CONCRETING OF ACCESS/CONNECTIVITY ROAD
CONJOINING FROM BARANGAY GINES, MIAGAO, ILOILO TO BARANGAY BANGLADAN, MIAGAO,
ILOILO AND TO PROVIDE THE SERVICES OF BULLDOZER

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay of Gines aimed for contributing local economic development to
diversify and intensify the agricultural production and for contributing transportation development to expand access and
connectivity road of all localities of all neighboring barangays;

WHEREAS, agriculture is the mainstay of the economy of the people in the upland areas of Barangay Gines, in
order to assist the local farmers to easily access and carry their products manageably and less effort to the highway, an
access road can be a massive help for both barangays;

WHEREAS, the Municipal Government had initially implemented the concreting of the above-said road this 2 nd
quarter of Cy 2024 but the budget allocated was not well sufficient to completely accomplish the project and to ensure
efficient and instantaneous development of this access road, an aid from the provincial government is highly
recommended;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Barangay Kagawad Analyn C. Ferando and duly seconded by Barangay
Kagawad Reyzel L. Niegos;

BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, a resolution requesting Honorable Governor Arthur R.

Defensor Jr. to allocate budget for the concreting of access/connectivity road conjoining from Barangay Gines, Miagao,
Iloilo to Barangay Bangladan, Miagao, Iloilo and to provide the services of bulldozer preferably this 3 rd quarter of CY
2024.

RESOLVED FURTHER, copies of this resolution be forwarded to the Office of the Provincial Governor, Office of the
Municipal Mayor, Office of the Sangguniang Barangay and other concerned agencies for their guidance and information.
UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.
