 n the project ‘Was ist Metaphysik?‘ (‘What is metaphysics?’),
Florence-based designer Michele Durazzi combines architectural
details and natural landscapes to create striking surreal
cityscapes. The 3D images, which are not based on real-life
architecture, zoom-in on geometric elements as well as explore
the realm where philosophy and architecture crossover.

The series is also named after a philosophical work by Martin

Heidegger. Delving into ‘surreal minimalism’, Durazzi juxtaposes
familiar scenes with fabricated structures and invites viewers to
construct a reality of their own.

 My name is Ando Fuchs. born and raised in Southtyrol/Italy but
since the 90s I've been living in Austria, very close to the
Italian border.
I first came into contact with photography in the middle of the
80s. At that time, photography was still analog and I couldn't
afford it, so I had to let it be. In the year 2009, a friend of
mine brought me back to photography and this was the spark to
reinflame my passion. It lets me see the world with different
eyes.

The most important things for me in my pictures are expression,

atmosphere, content... and less the technical
quality. I target on making the audience "feel" the picture.
If I am able to reach this, it's a personal success and
satisfaction for my work my biggest success so far was with
security 2015, publication of my work in one of the biggest
German photo magazines, otherwise some minor reports in
magazines in Italy and Austria, as well as exhibitions in my
surroundings.But that’s ok, too.

 My name is Mikko Lagerstedt; I'm a self-taught fine art photographer
from Finland. I love to capture night, and atmospheric photography and
I enjoy capturing simplistic landscapes.

My very first inspiration towards photography came to me when I was

driving on a summer’s eve to my relative’s cabin.
After a rainy day, the sun started shining, and the fog was rising in
the fields. I just had to stop and watch this beautiful moment and then
I realized that I want to start capturing these kinds of moments.

My photography journey first started in December 2008 and from the first
moments; I fell in love with it. I like to create visually, and
emotionally captivating pictures and my goal is to capture the feeling
I had when I took the photograph.

 STODDARD
Alex Stoddard is a photographer based in Los Angeles, California.

He was born in Jacksonville, Florida and raised in Georgia, where he

discovered a love for photography at an early age. Sneaking his mom's
camera out of her room to take self portraits in the woods behind his
house, he began sharing his work on the popular image sharing website
Flickr and within a year's time gained a following of tens of thousands.
His following escalated during his 365 Project in 2011, where Stoddard
took one self portrait every day for a year. On referencing his project,
he says, "I spent most of the year that I was engaged in the project by
myself, so I had a lot of time to delve into my own mind and really come
to know myself." His photos during this time were widely recognized by
many media outlets such as My Modern Metropolis and Refinery 29.

He creates dark, narrative portraiture that thrives on the fantastical and

the fragility of the human experience.

Alex Stoddard is a photographer based in Los Angeles, California.

He was born in Jacksonville, Florida and raised in Georgia, where he

discovered a love for photography at an early age. Sneaking his mom's
camera out of her room to take self portraits in the woods behind his
house, he began sharing his work on the popular image sharing website
Flickr and within a year's time gained a following of tens of thousands.
His following escalated during his 365 Project in 2011, where Stoddard
took one self portrait every day for a year. On referencing his project,
he says, "I spent most of the year that I was engaged in the project by
myself, so I had a lot of time to delve into my own mind and really come
to know myself." His photos during this time were widely recognized by
many media outlets such as My Modern Metropolis and Refinery 29.

He creates dark, narrative portraiture that thrives on the fantastical and

the fragility of the human experience.

 Michal Zahornacky is professional fine art photographer from Slovakia.
He bought his first camera in 2011 and since 2014 he is active on
professional level. He is a self-taught.

Besides his art photography you can also find a selection of wedding
photographs in his portfolio. The main part in his photography plays the
human. Mainly he focuses on portraits. His photographs are specific for
unique emotions and atmosphere. He brings thought and moods to his
photographs which he always shows in unclear imagination so the viewer
must think about the message of the photography.

His most famous projects are Dream series and Poems series, which were
published in many magazines and prized in Slovakia as well as abroad. At
the moment he is working on his Poems series, which combines art with art.
Each photograph has its own little story shown through a metaphor.
The photographs in this series are completed by a unique poem written by
Slovak poets.

By viewing Michal’s photographs you find yourself thinking about the
