In your letter itis not clear that which grade are you going to use in the project, and you have submitted the credential of IS-269, with the BIS certificate valid up to 20-02-2021, which is not accepted by us. ‘As per para-1 of IS-269, the cement covers the physical and chemical requirements of 33 grade ordinary Portland cement The para- 8.1 states, that the manufacturer shall satisfy himself that the cement conforms to the requirements of this standard and, if requested, shall furnish a test certificate to this ‘effect to the purchaser or his representative, within ten days of testing of the cement (except for 28 days compressive strength test results, which shall be furnished after completion of the test). The type and percentage addition of performance improver(s) shall also be indicated in the certificate. {As stated in para-10.3 BIS Certification marking the cement may also be marked with the ‘Standard Mark and as per para-10.3.1 the use of the Standard Mark is governed by the provisions of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act. In view of above, it is informed that as per your submissions, the BIS certificate is up to 20- 02-2021 and not meeting the project requirements as per clause 901.10 of MORTH specifications as the essential tests are to be carried out at the manufacturer's plant, Hence the undersigned is not in a position to give consent to “The Ramco cements Ltd” for using in our Project road.
