Example: Textbook
is a book used as study material in schools,
colleges and universities. Textbooks are
designed to provide structured information
about a particular subject or discipline and are
often used as part of the educational curriculum.
Essay Example:
The word "essay" refers to an essay, which
is a type of short and objective text, in
which the author explores, analyzes or
argues about a specific topic. Essays can
be informative, analytical, critical, or
persuasive and are commonly used in
academic and literary contexts.
Example: Letter
is a form of written communication sent from
one person to another. Letters can be used
for a variety of purposes, including personal,
professional, official or commercial
communication.
Narrative Non Example:
Fiction
form of writing that combines narrative
elements and literary techniques to tell
stories based on real events. Unlike fiction,
which is invented, non-fiction storytelling is
based on real events, people, places and
situations, but uses narrative techniques
such as character development, dialogue,
vivid description and narrative structure to
tell a story in an engaging and captivating
way.
Example: Journal
contains news, opinion articles, reports and
other forms of journalistic information. These
newspapers are published daily, weekly or
monthly and are intended for the general
public to inform about current events,
politics, cultural and other matters of public
interest.
Diaries Example:
They are personal and regularly written
records, where the author documents his
experiences, thoughts, feelings and day-to-
day events. Journals can be used for
personal, reflective, or even therapeutic
purposes.
Example: Autobiography
Autobiography is a detailed narrative about a
person's life written by themselves. Unlike
biography, which is written by someone else,
autobiography allows the subject of the
narrative to tell their own story, sharing their
experiences, thoughts and feelings directly
with the reader.
Speech Example:
is an oral presentation addressed to an
audience. A speech can have several
purposes, including informing, persuading,
entertaining, or inspiring listeners. Speeches
are common in contexts such as public
events, meetings, ceremonies, conferences
and political contexts.
Biography Example:
The word "biography" in English refers to
a biography, which is a detailed narrative
about a person's life, including important
facts, achievements and personal
aspects. A biography may be written by
someone else (a biographer) or by the
subject of the biography himself, in which
case it is called an autobiography.
