IDENTIFYING GOALS
MONDAY
Read P salm 13 9.
Reflect
God is a God who knows everything, who can see everything,
and his power is beyond imagination. The psalmist considers all
of these traits and praises God for who He is. Thus, having this
foundation about who God is, the psalmist then made a plea to
God to search his life and expose sin. Dreams are not bad. It is
good to dream dreams, but it is best to dream God's dreams.
What is your present dream? You may list down and identify
this
dream, plan, or ambition. Allow God to search your heart and
your dreams today.

Respond
Am I dreaming of God's dreams and plans?

Is my current dream, plan, or ambition inclined to what God

wants me to do?

Reflect
David, the Psalmist, started the Psalm by showing that when there
is sunlight, we can see the beauty of God's handiwork through His
creation. He then moves to give us another point that the revealed
Word of God guides us on how to be a blessing to humankind. The
Bible is the primary and tangible tool to use for us to know God's
perfect will and plan. Know this: when the Bible says NO, it is a
definite no. It is of useless effort then to continually ask God if a
specific plan or dream is His will if the Bible already says NO to it.
Why pursue a dream or a plan, then when God says NO to it al-
ready?

Respond
Is my present dream in accordance to the Word of God?

If the Word of God says NO to it, am I willing to let give it up?

What hinders me from giving up this dream?

WEDNESDAY
Read P salm 11 9:1 -8.
Reflect
This Psalm tells us that the Word of God helps us grow and
guides us on how to live a life that is set apart for God. Obedi-
ence to God through His word is the simple yet most complicat-
ed thing to do. It is simple because it is the non-negotiable
practical way on how to live a life that is pleasing to Him. It is
complicated because obedience is never easy, especially if we
have to give up something that we really love and replace it by
doing something that God wants us to do. Obedience,
however, is a wonderful journey of trust and faith. In pursuing
our dreams, obedience to God and His Word makes pursuing
more exciting and challenging.
