types of power supply
types of power supply
Regulated: These supplies use feedback circuits to maintain a stable output voltage or current despite
fluctuations in input voltage or load changes. They offer reliable and precise power, ideal for sensitive
devices.
Non-Regulated: These supplies directly output the input voltage with minimal processing. They are
simpler and cheaper, but voltage can fluctuate, potentially damaging sensitive devices.
Constant Current: These supplies maintain a constant current level regardless of load changes.
Constant Voltage: These supplies maintain a constant voltage level regardless of load changes.
AC Power Supply: Supplies alternating current, where the voltage and current polarity continuously
reverse direction. It can also provide wave functions. Used for powering most household appliances and
electronics like TVs and computers.
DC Power supply :Supplies direct current, where the voltage and current have a constant polarity. Used
for powering electronic devices like smartphones, laptops, and battery-operated gadgets.
