3 PREADJUSTMENT

- The car door operator is preadjusted and sealed (with paint markings) at the factory.
- No other mechanical adjustments other than those mentioned in this instruction are required
at site!

- Check that the sill gap (25nun) is correct and even.

- Before starting the door installation, make sure that the car door entrance is square and in
plumb.
- A mis-aligned entrance may cause problems when installing the operator.

NOTE! The distance HH is measured

from the top of the sill profile.

- Install the adjustable fIxing brackets (1) to the side posts according to the dimensions shown in the
fIgure above.

- 3 M8-screw joints (2) I fIxing bracket

Note! The brackets must be in plumb and 2 mm pmud of the side postsllintel.

- Turn out the middle suspension screw (3) 4 ...5 mm and remove the top and bottom suspension
screws (4).

Transport stand

- Lift up the car door operator.

NOTE! Use the lifting bar when hoisting the car door operator. The bar is to be removed after
finished door installation.

- Remove the transport stands.

- With the hanger plates in the open position, suspend the operator on the suspension screws (3)
through the keyholes in the top track back plate.

- Re-install the top and bottom suspension screws (4). Tighten all suspension screws (3) and (4).

- Adjust the top track rail horizontally and to correct height using the adjustable fixing brackets.

- Check that the top track rail runs parallel to the sill and the front of the rail is 39 mm behind the sill
edge. If not, the depth of the fixing brackets must be re-adjusted.

- Remove the coupler (complete with adapter plate) from the banger plate .

- Open the bangers and put in both door panels onto the sill.
- Place fillers of 6 mm thickness between the bottom of the panels and the sill.
- Close the bangers and fit the panels to the bangers.

- Remove the fillers and install the guide shoes.

- Check that:
- the door panel edges are in line with the side posts at the same time.
- the gap (4 ... 6 mm) between door panel and side post is even and same for both panels.
Measure: adjust the number of shim between panel and bottom guide! reposition the
adjustable fixing brackets deepward.
- the gap (4 ... 6 mm) between the door panel edges, when the door is closed, is even
from inside car.
Measure: Loosen on the fixing screws and reposition the door panels.
- Secure the door alignment with two sheet metal screws (B3,5 x 13) I door panel trougb the pre-
drilled holes on the bangers.

- Measure the distance X ( -66 mm) between

closed.
- Open the door and increase the distance to Magnet
X+6mm.
- Check and if required, adjust the short
circuit pins to just make the door contacts.
- The distance between the close end switch
and the magnet is pre-adjusted at the
factory. The close end switch give door
position feedback and final adjustment can
only be worked out during the
commisioning.

13 RE-FIXING OF DOOR COUPLER

The coupler is adjusted in the 95

factory and normaUy there is no (63)
need to adjust the coupler at site.

- Install the coupler on the left hanger.

- Make sure that the coupler opens (95 mm) and closes (63 mm).
- Check that the roller clearance at each landing and if required, adjust the landing door lock
roller position.
