Defroster actuator, replacing

1. Park the machine in the service position A, see: Service positions

2. Turn OFF the battery disconnect switch.

3. Remove the cab. See: Cab, removing

4. Remove the seat. See: Operator's seat, removal.

5. Remove screws (2) and the right-hand duct cover (1).

6. Remove the screws and the seat support plate (1).

7. Disconnect connector (1) for defroster actuator and remove screws (2) and defroster actuator.

8. Install the new defroster actuator. The installation procedure is the reverse order of removal.

9. Install the seat. See: Seat, replacing.

10. Install the cab, See: Operator's seat, installation.

11. Check the defroster actuator operation.
