ABSTRACT
It seems evident today that agriculture and food systems must be transformed from
wasteful and exploitative approaches. Also, there is an evident need to boost the efficient
use of resources, to restore biodiversity and to reduce pollution. To answer the above,
Regenerative Agriculture (RA) can offer substantial results for sustainable farming. RA
provides new farming techniques, proposes the sustainable management of soil and offers
significant environmental/economic benefits. Despite the above, the adoption of RA is
slowly spreading across Europe. One of the main limitations is the lack of knowledge and
skills. This knowledge gap is tackled by the REGINA project, by offering education
possibilities for students as well as farmers. The publication will cover the main aims and
current progress of the project in order to enable sustainable agriculture through adaptable
educational methodologies.
