As the holiday season approaches,
schools around the world are
gearing up to celebrate with festive
events that brings the students,
teacher and families together, and of
course, our school St. Andrew
Montessori and High School Inc.
celebrated its Family Day last
December 15, 2023.

students of grade 12 TVL strand
conquer the training in Food and
Beverages Services as they
showcase their skills and talents
on the said training in Wellcare
Institute of Science and
Technology.

Students prepared a ton of fun
activities for the fellow students,
teachers ,and even the parents to
enjoy. They also prepared stage
presentations that painted smiles on
the crowd’s faces. Students surely
did have fun on playing games that
the Supreme Student Council
prepared. After the fun event at the
school, students who volunteered
proceeded to Brgy. Consolacion and
held its outreach program that
helped the community. According to
the school principal Ma’am Julieta
Tan, this kind of activity makes the
students reflect that it is better to
give than to receive . Moreover, this
outreach program will become
reality because of the help of our
very supportive donors and that is
our parents, who give donations like
canned goods, clothes and toys.
They also prepared relief goods
which came from the students of St.
Andrew and even gave away some
of their old favorite clothes and toys
to give joy to the kids. The Student
Government Organization and the
Supreme Student Council led by
Leigh Torbela and Shervin
Raymundo had prepared games that
the kids and the kids at heart
enjoyed. They gave away prizes
which made the kids and adults
more eager to join the games. The
day ended with smiles imprinted on
everyone’s faces. The Christmas
party is a fun get together where
friends and family gather to
celebrate the holiday season. It’s a
time to share happiness and
kindness, making it a special event
for everyone involved.

Pizza Making in Shakeys

Montessori & High School
participated in an enjoyable pizza-
making day. The program aimed to
teach students not only the
fundamentals of pizza preparation
but also the importance of
teamwork and creativity.

very supportive parents, students
eagerly rolled up their sleeves to
knead dough, spread sauce, and
sprinkle toppings. The kitchen
buzzed with excitement as each
student had the opportunity to
personalize their pizzas. The pizza-
making day seamlessly equipped the
learners to collaborate with their
classmates and friends to enhance
their potential in teamwork. Also, it
can boost their creativity by
designing or customizing their own
pizza. Teamwork was a key focus
throughout the day, with students
working together in small groups to
assemble and bake their pizzas. As
the freshly baked pizzas emerged
from the ovens, a sense of
accomplishment filled the air.
Students eagerly shared their
creations, comparing flavors and
techniques. "It was fun! I want to do
it again!" exclaimed Kenji, grinning
proudly as he held up his perfectly
baked masterpiece.
This event can hone the potential of
our learners, and it can also spark
their cooking abilities. And I am
happy that our learners experienced
this kind of activity. We will surely
do it again next school year! ” Ma’am
Julieta Tan is expressing her
gratitude for the activity. The pizza-
making day at SAMHI exemplified
how real-world or real-life activity
can integrate with learning. Beyond
this, our future leaders, or, should I
say, our learners, can enhance their
potential and discover their own
talent because learning never stops,
and learning is not only seen in the
four walls of the classroom; we need
to explore outside to discover the
bigger and better versions of
ourselves.

Little Professional
Career Guidance Day is essential for reasons beyond
simply introducing people to various career paths. By
providing them with insights into industries they may not
have previously considered, it encourages them to
visualize their futures. Students get essential firsthand
knowledge about the day-to-day reality of various
vocations by meeting with dedicated professionals. Their
horizons are expanded by this exposure, which also
enables them to make well-informed judgments on their
academic paths and long-term objectives. The St. Andrew
Montessori & High School hosted a career guidance event
on March 15 and 27, 2024, which was packed with
opportunities for self-discovery. Students from elementary
school through senior high school present their intended

MATHenik
Division Math Contest
Urdaneta I Central School and
Urdaneta City National High School
recently held their annual Math
Contest, bringing together gifted
young mathematicians from all over
the district in a celebration of
numerical power and critical
thinking.
The math department of the school
hosted the competition, which
consisted of a number of difficult
rounds meant to gauge competitors'
mathematical prowess. Each round
challenged competitors to use their
classroom knowledge in novel and
creative ways, ranging from solving
algebraic equations to solving
intricate geometry problems. Teams
of competitors ages elementary
through high school, were created,
and throughout the day, individuals
competed. As they worked together
to solve each problem that was
given to them, there was a strong
sense of camaraderie and
concentration among the pupils. "I
like the feeling of adrenaline that
comes from solving these puzzles,"
grade 6 participant Jeriegn
Echavaria remarked. "It's a great
feeling when you finally figure out
the solution after grappling with a
tough problem." At the awards
event that marked the contest's
conclusion, top performers received
recognition for their extraordinary
accomplishments. Winners in a
number of categories received
trophies.

The students prepared for this
event just so it could be
memorable for the teachers on
stage which made some of them

the teachers to enjoy .
More Than Just a Camp

The BSP and GSP Investiture is one
of the most awaited events of the
students of St. Andrew Montessori
and High School Inc. It took place
last October 27, 2023. Scouters had
their donning of neckerchief along
with the teachers. After the
investiture, the schools yearly
camping occurred which lasted 3
days and 2 nights.

The scouters independently set up
their own tents on the first day. Sir
and taught the scouters how to
properly tie a knot and how to use
neckerchief as a bandage in case of
emergency. The scouts also
competed in who’s faster in tying a
knot and the girl scouts won over
the boys. The 4 teams namely-
Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, and Delta also
had an assembly. As the sun sets,
the team Alpha which is the team
that is in charge of dinnerstarted
preparing as the three other teams
cleaned the surroundings.
Learning by
Experience
The second day was full of
activities. The scouts also held a
cleaning drive outside and inside
the school, and had fun games.
The scout masters hid the Team’s
flags, which they didn’t find.

Some students planned surprise
for their advisers which made
them emotional .The Teacher’s
Day celebration of St.Andrew is
truly eventful but the instructors
did enjoy their day truth their

The second day ended with a
campfire, which lead into a
disaster. As the heavy rain falls,
scouts did their best to evacuate
their things. A lot of students
went home, and some are left
behind. Students who went
home came back the next
morning to help clean up the
mess that the heavy rain left
behind. The camping may ended
with a disaster, but it was truly a
great experience for the
students
