‘ARRANGEMENTS AND CONDUCT OF FUNERAL SERVICES, HONORS
AND LAST COURTESIES BY THE PHILIPPINE ARMY
1. PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
This SOP consolidates and enhances all published SOPs, directives,
policies and guidelines on the arrangement and conduct of funeral services, honors
and last courtesies for deceased Filipino war veterans, retired and honorably
separated AFP personnel, PA reserve officers in the inactive status, PA reservists,
who are under Call to Active Duty (CAD) status, in all enlisted and officer grades
from E1 to 010, for the smooth conduct of such services by the Philippine Army.
2. PERSONS ENTITLED TO FUNERAL SERVICES, HONORS AND
OTHER LAST COURTESIES:
The following deceased persons are entitled to funeral services,
honors and other last courtesies, to wit:
Veterans of Filipino-Spanish War
Veterans of Filipino-American War
Veterans of World War |
Veterans & Recognized Gueriltas of World War il
Veterans of PEFTOK and Other Expeditionary Forces
Veterans of Philippine Insurgency Campaigns
Retired / Honorably Separated PA Personnel
Retired / Honorably Separated PC Personnel
Retired / Honorably Separated TAS Officers
PA Reserve Officers in the Inactive Status
. PA Reservists who are under Call to Active Duty Tour for Training
(CADTT) status, Call to Active Duty for Training (CADT) or Active Duty Training
(ADT).
3. OBJECTIVE:
