IT/ IT helpdesk Configuration Process

DPS International, Gurgaon is a Wi-Fi enabled campus. Students and teachers who carry their
personal laptop need to get it configured in DPSI domain to access internet and other shared
resources. Mentioned below is the configuration process that needs to be followed by
students and teachers before they can start using their personal devices at school.

# At the time of entry, each laptop has to be mandatorily handed over to the IT Helpdesk.

# IT helpdesk will configure the laptop to make it a member of DPSI domain there by allowing
access to DPSI network, internet, shared resources and file sharing etc.

# No laptop will be allowed to be used inside the DPSI campus without routing through the
Helpdesk and configuration as per DPSI Protocols/Standards

Note: DPSI maintains an Anti-Piracy Policy. We support and adhere to International Copyright Laws. Users
should never download or install any commercial software, shareware or freeware onto network drives or
disks, unless they have the permission from IT department to do so. Students will be informed if and when
other educational software will be required for different subjects.

The school reserves the right to monitor, inspect, copy and review the personally-owned laptop, files and
school accounts (GSuite and Microsoft) when there's a reasonable suspicion of violation.
