1 Center image shift when
scanning in duplex.
Contents
Phenomenon
The center position of the image at the back of the original may be shifted by
about 3mm, when scanning in duplex through the DP with the network scanner.
Please note that no problems are expected, when copying double sided originals
through the DP.

Solution
The adjustment of the scanning image by the network has been corrected.
2 No sort output when Phenomenon
performing repeat copy. Sort output may not be performed when performing repeat copy after setting
pagination etc.
Once the phenomenon occurs, it will continue until the main switch is turned OFF
and ON.

Cause
The job is not sorted when the previous print job is not sorted, because the printer
job variable is referred to in order to determine whether the next job should be
sorted or not.

3 The setting range at U064
has been changed.

Solution
The print job variable will not be referred to, because this is unnecessary when
performing a copy job.
The adjusting range of maintenance mode U064 (Adjusting the CCD level) has
been changed as follows to simplify the adjustment work in the production line:
Old setting range: 3 to 5. (Initial value is 4)
New setting range: 1 to 7. (Initial value is 4)

Field measure When the above mentioned phenomena occur, please upgrade the firmware to the latest version.

scanner assy SP) with the latest type. The main (IPU) firmware has been upgraded to recognize the latest scanner
board.
