Tree Planting Narrative Report

On December 06, 2023, Deped release the DM No. 069, s. 2023 titled Guidelines on the
Implementation of the Project: "DepEd's 236,000 Trees - A Christmas Gift for the Children".
It organized a tree planting activity aimed at promoting environmental conservation and
sustainability within the local community. The event took place at Raymundo P. Bariñan
Elementary School with enthusiastic participation of the teachers, students, and our very own
committee on Education.
The tree planting activity commenced early in the morning, with participants gathering at the
designated site. After a brief orientation session outlining safety protocols and planting
techniques, volunteers were divided into groups and assigned planting areas. Under the
guidance of experienced facilitators, participants enthusiastically dug holes, carefully planted
saplings, and ensured proper spacing between trees to optimize growth. Throughout the
process, emphasis was placed on proper tree care techniques, including watering, mulching,
and protection from pests and diseases. The tree planting activity attracted a diverse range of
participants, including students, teachers, and the committee on Education. By working
together towards a common goal, participants forged meaningful connections and
strengthened community bonds.By the end of the day, 121 of trees were successfully planted,
marking a significant contribution to the local ecosystem. The event received positive
feedback from participants, who expressed a sense of fulfillment and pride in their collective
efforts to make a positive impact on the environment.
Furthermore, the tree planting activity served as a catalyst for ongoing environmental
initiatives within the community, inspiring individuals and organizations to collaborate on
future projects aimed at preserving and enhancing the natural environment.The tree planting
activity was a resounding success, thanks to the dedication and enthusiasm of all participants.
Through their combined efforts, valuable strides were made towards creating a greener,
healthier, and more sustainable future for generations to come. As stewards of the
environment, it is our collective responsibility to continue nurturing and protecting our
precious natural resources for the benefit of all.
