Reference Letter for Muhammad Ikmal Fahmi Bin Che Mohamood

Dear YSEALI Organizer:

I am pleased to recommend Muhammad Ikmal Fahmi Bin Che Mohamood as a delegate of the
YSEALI Academic Fellowship.

He was serving as Social Media Outreach Associate under The Young SEAkers (TYS) Malaysia
Chapter, the non-governmental organization (NGO) that I lead.

He had exhibited great energy and enthusiasm in curating social media content and
communicating with other team members from different countries across online medium. He
managed to influence more Malaysian youths to advance ASEAN-China region through different
programs and activities.

Above all, Fahmi’s passion for people and the creation of operating environments enabling
empowerment and achievement is extraordinary - in my experience. Despite experiencing
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) in 2018, he is an active undergraduate student who
advocates mental health, environmental and political related issues.

With his excellent designing, communication, organisational and influencing skills, I have great
confidence that he would be the right candidate of YSEALI Academic Fellowship.

I wholeheartedly endorse Muhammad Ikmal Fahmi Bin Che Mohamood as a delegate of the
YSEALI Academic Fellowship. Please do not hesitate to contact me shall you require further
clarifications.

Sincerely,
