McGill tuition fees vary according to the citizenship status, Quebec residency status (if applicable) and study program of the admitted
student. Fees are subject to chanqe. All newly admitted undergraduate students must prove their citizenship status to McGill in order to
determine the correct tuition.This includes Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada. Details on documents needed to

IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS


To study legally at McGill, students who are not citizens or permanent residents of Canada must obtain:
1. Certification d'acceptation du Qu6bec (CAQ) from the Ministdre de I'lmmigration, de la Diversit6 et de I'lnclusion, Qu6bec;
2. Study permit from Citizenship and lmmigration Canada. McGill University's CIC unique identifier is O'1935901 1033.

lmmigration officials will need to estimate your McGill attendance costs and will require printed paper copies of:
- this 2-page admission letter;
- the tuition for your McGill program: www.mcoill.calstudent-accounts/tuition-fees

Obtaining a study permit takes considerable time, in some cases up to 6 months. We urge international students to start the immigration
process immediately after accepting our offer of admission. Occasionally, admission to McGill may be offered late in the cycle making it
difficult to obtain a study permit in time for the start of term. Students encountering such difficulties should notify our office in writing as

CO.oP WORK PERMIT


Students who are not citizens or permanent residents of Canada, and who are admitted to programs which include a mandatory work
component such as a co-op, placement or stage, must obtain a co-op work permit in addition to their study permit. For more information
see the McGill lnternational Student Services website: www.mcgill.calinternationalstudents.

INTERNATIONAL TUITION FEES


McGill tuition fees, and related charges, vary by the program, level and citizenship of each student. For your own most up-to-date tuition
(in Canadian currency), go to: www.mcqill.calstudent-accounts/tuition-fees and select your fee status and program. Print a copy of the
resulting statement to present to the immigration official. (Use Chrome for best formatting results)

ACADEMIC INTEGRITY
McGill places a high value on academic integrity in all facets of study. We advise you to learn more about this subject at the Student
