Exam: Abdominopelvic Scan

ABDOMINOPELVIC SCAN REPORT

LIVER: The liver is normal in size with smooth outline, span of 11.73cm. It
shows normal parenchyma echopattern. No evidence of focal mass,
collection or calcification. Intra and extrahepatic vasculature are within
normal limits.

KIDNEYS: Both kidneys are normal in their sizes (RK: 11.81cm x 4.29cm, LK:
11.45cm x 4.54cm) and positions with good bilateral corticomedullary
differentiation. Unilateral right renal pelvis dilatation is demonstrated.
No calculus or renal mass seen.

PERITONEUM: The demonstrated bowel loops appear moderately distended,


intraluminal free fluid debris, inter-loop free fluid and to and fro
peristalsis. Turbid intraperitoneal fluid collection is seen at the right
subhepatic space

SPLEEN: The spleen is normal-sized measuring 11.73cm in diameter with smooth


outline and uniform parenchymal echogenicity. No focal mass lesion
visualized.

URINARY BLADDER: The urinary bladder is within normal limits with clear anaechoic urine.

UTERUS: The uterus is not seen (due to hysterectomy).

IMPRESSION: POST.OP. MULTIPLE INTRAPERITONEAL HEMATOMAS.


NORMAL HEPATOBILIARY & RENAL STUDY.
AUTERUS (20 TO HYSTERECTOMY).

SUGGEST: ABDOMINAL CT/RADIOGRAPH FOR FURTHER CLINICAL EVALUATION.
