Growth of a Plant
A plant consists of a few parts, which are roots, stem, leaves and fruit. The roots of a
plant are present below the soil. You cannot see them. They support the plant to remain
erect and absorb the water from the soil and transfer it up to the stem. The stem is
above the soil. It takes the water from the roots and transfers them to the leaves. They
have special tubes inside them which help them to transfer water. The leaves are present

on the stem and they use the water to make food for the plant in the presence of sun
light and air. As the plant grows, the stem becomes thicker and stronger and more

The Shoemaker and the Elves

Once upon a time, there lived a shoemaker who was a very poor fellow.
He did not have much money but hehad a very kind heart. He was generous and
loved to help people in need. Every day, he would make one pair of shoes and try
to sell it. He had no money to buy any expensive leather or fancy buttons to put
on them. He had a hard time trying to persuade people to buy that plain and
simple pair. One morning, when the shoemaker went to his room, he was
astonished to see a magnificent pair of shoes. “Wow, this is beautiful, who must

us
have made this?” he asked his wife. Each morning, there would be a new pair of
shoes ready for him. One day,he and his wife hid behind the door. They saw two
little elves in torn clothes coming in and stitching the most beautiful pair of

mp
shoes. That night, the shoemaker kept a few small clothes for them on the table
which his wife had prepared all day long. The elves were delighted to see
them and they dressed themselves up.They never returned after that. The
shoemaker and his wife lived happily ever after.

Einstein Albert
Einstein was an extraordinary scientist who lived a long time ago. He had wild, untidy hair
and was known for being a little absent-minded. Despite this, Einstein was incredibly
smart and came up with ground breaking ideas about how the world works. One of his most
famous equations is E=mc2, which helped us understand energy and matter better.
Einstein's curiosity and love for learning started when he was a little boy, and he never

us
stopped asking questions. He loved to imagine and think about the universe in ways no one
had before. Thanks to his brilliant mind, we now know more about space, time, and how

everything is connected.

Money Rain
Jen stared mindlessly out of her window. Her parents had grounded her and she couldn't
begin to describe how bored she was. Jen sighed as she watched the rain fall and heard
the thunder in the distance. The NEWS had forecast the worst storm in the city's
history, and it was absolutely bucketing down. As Jen's mind continued to wander, she
noticed something strange about the rain. It wasn't rain that was falling, it was money!
Jen woke from her daze and fixed her glasses. "What on earth," she muttered to herself.
"That's money!" she exclaimed. Jen sprinted outside as fast as she could and began

collecting the notes that fell from the sky.
