EMDD Holiday Homework Grade 9

Dear Students, You all must be excited about the upcoming summer holidays! No matter what you
plan to do, holidays are a wonderful opportunity to enjoy and learn from new experiences – seeing,
observing, understanding, trying to do new things or getting better at your hobbies or talents.

The EMDD subject is all about giving you opportunities to solve real-life problems using digital
technology. During the holidays, you will select a problem you and your family have solved and
prepare a short video describing the solution journey as traversing through the various stages of the
Design Cycle. (For reference : Unit-1, P3, Home Task section)

The video should be short and can be made using any method as long as it meets its purpose. Below
are some options:
• Create an animated video using apps like Animaker, etc.
• Or just record a short video of yourself speaking.
• Create a slideshow and make it into a short video.
• Or any other method you want.

At the end of the holidays, you will submit the video to your EMDD teacher along with written
answers to the following questions:

Q 1 Why is it important for the new EMDD students to understand the Design Cycle?
Q 2 What is the length of the video? What resources and tools did you use to make it?
Q 3 What new skills or abilities did you develop while making this video?
