A swift kick to the chest, and then Ayura was ready to take the crook down. She was a
bodyguard, she had trained for these kind of situations, and she was prepared.

But before she can stop him with her fist, Tetora charged ahead of her, swinging her trusted
sword and striking the crook on the side of his head, slashing him on the chest. The crook fell
to the ground, knocking him out cold.

Ayura and Tetora caught their breaths, waiting for any sigh of movement from the
perpetrator; just unconscious. The authorities soon arrived and took the crook away, with
great relief from the nearby villagers.

Ayura blinked in surprise, turning to see Tetora sheathe her sword in her holder. "Looks like
you beat me to it," she exhaled out.

"I saw my chance and took it," Tetora replied, dusting herself off. "It's what I was taught, to
wait for an opening, and then strike."

Ayura smiled, rubbing her hands together. "I'll have to brush up on that trick soon."

Tetora smiled back. "And I'll teach you personally."

"Oh, yes, please do."
