Respected Sir,

I, Smt. Aparna Malik nee Das, wife of Sujit Malik,

daughter of Prabir Das, presently residing at 14, Tinkori Nath
Bose Lane, P.O. - Salkia, P.S-Golabari, District-Howrah –
711106, do here by apprise before you regarding the atrocities
committed by the following Persons; 1. Sujit Malik son of late
Pradip Malik 2. Rina Malik wife of Late Pradip Malik 3. Anju
Porel, wife of Akhil Porel, daughter of Late Pradip Malik, all are
residing at 21, Tinkori Nath Bose Lane, P.O.- Salkia, P.S.-
Golabari, Dist.- Howrah Pin-711106 and 4. Swarna Malik wife of
not known, Residing at 24/25 Tinkori Nath Bose Lane, P.O.-
Salkia, P.S.-Golabari, Dist.- Howrah Pin-711106.

I am writing this letter in a very unfortunate and hard

situation. I have been through a lot in my life but this is
something I wish no one would ever go through. My marriage was
solemnized on 15th April, 2021 with Sujit Malik and it was a love
marriage. Before our marriage, we were in a relationship for 3
months. Then we get married at my elder sister-in-law’s
matrimonial house at Manik Pith, Howrah. After our marriage, I
went to my matrimonial house i.e., 21, Tinkori Nath Bose Lane,
P.O.- Salkia, P.S.-Golabari, Dist.- Howrah Pin-711106.
Thereafter out of our said wedlock one female child was born on
24.06.2022 namely Srijita Maity, presently she is 1 year old. It is
pertinent to mention that I belong to a very lower middle-class
family, but all this despite my father gave me four golden
bangles, one gent’s golden ring to the groom, almirah and one
pair of earrings. Just after few days of our marriage, problem
arises by my mother-in-law namely Rina Malik, my husband

Sujit Malik and my Younger sister-in-law Anju Porel. They did
not satisfy about the dowry articles and few days after my
marriage they started demanding more dowry and cash from my
parents. But as my father is just a driver and earns a little
amount, I refused them regarding more dowry. On such refusal
the above mentioned persons started misbehave with me and I
realised that the person I got married he was nothing but an
animal by nature, my husband with the indulgence from my
mother in law and younger sister in law has been starting beating
me frequently.
Sometimes with a baseball bat and sometimes with a hard stick,
anything he can find. It is pertinent to mention that my mother-
in-law and my younger sister-in-law also used abusive and
vulgar language towards me and demand more money from my
father. And their behaviour getting worse day by day. He does not
even give proper food to me and my breast feeding daughter.

That it is pertains to mention that I tried my level best to

adjust with them and being an Indian Women tried my level best
to continue our relationship between us just for my daughter, to
give her a normal life. But I got to know that he had an illicit
relationship with a married woman namely Swarna Malik. It is
needless to mention that this affair started before our marriage
and still continues even after our marriage and after birth of our
daughter.

That whenever I tried to check his phone, he started

abused me with vulgar language, but on one day, he was not at
room and then I checked his phone and found out some
intimate’s videos of my husband and Swarna Malik. That his
aforesaid family members know all the facts about my husband
affair but never said a word about it. I am cheated by my
husband and my aforesaid in-laws. After found out those videos
when I tried to protest and then my husband pushed me and I
got saviour injury in my body and started beating me mercilessly.
I am scared of him and could not bear this situation. As a result
of this on 4th October’ 2023 at about 9.30 to 10 pm, all of a

sudden, they started abusing me and stating assaulting me with
fist and blows and thereafter they driven out me and my
daughter in one cloth. Finding no other

alternative way, I went to my father’s house and till date I am

residing at my father’s house.

In view of the above, I would like to request you take

appropriate action against my husband and my mother in law,
sister in law and Swarna Malik as per law and treat this
complaint as FIR for which I shall be ever grateful. I hope you will
find my situation and my matter concerning
