DRAMA DOCUMENTARY AND FILM PRODUCTION
INSTRUSTION: ANSWER QUESTION ONE AND ANY OTHER TWO QUESTIONS:
(1) From the drama you are about to produce state categorically on how the following production
stages will be applied to achieve your goals.
i. Pre-production
ii. Production
iii. Post-production
Pre-production: it should contain the ideas, budget scripts, shooting script, equipment costumes,
accommodation, other logistics etc.
Production: The composition are shooting actors display, makeup, foot stages and others.
Post-production: The assemble stage, editing synchronization of sequentially acceptable by the
director editor application of appropriate.
(2) Effects and Montage
Define budget and analyse the stages of budgeting in film\ documentary production.The
student should be able to define budget: A budget is an estimate based largely on the
experiences of the person preparing the budget for a production.
The student should be able to explain the top sheet of summary of the budget and also
breakdown of above the line and below the line. And why it is necessary to paid the budget.

(3) What are the sources of idea for script writing in documentary production list and explain
five (5) sources.

(4) Enumerate the crew needed and their roles during editing

replacement and producer
(5) Discuss the five important shorts in production stages. From the listed shots the student can
discuss.
