Domain 1: Create a new product which is not existing in the market/ Existing product
with new creative features which is not yet launched in the market.Be creative come up
with new idea.
Domain 2: Specify the type of product you have created, for example consumer goods-
convenience goods- impulse goods. You can come up with consumer or industrial
goods.
Domain 3: Explain in detail the components of product. You need to coverup all the
components you studied theoretically. (Core product, associated features, logo, brand
name, packaging, labeling) Give tag line to your product, decide on levels of packaging
and type of labelling.
Domain 4: You need to create visual product (model) design its packaging (all levels)
design label (front, back and side), Brand name ( explain its importance- Why you
selected particular name? what is its importance? Why have you selected shape of logo
and its importance? Explain each detail with images. (Example: show visual of your
main product and packaging you use separately)
Domain 5: Explain at which stage of product life cycle is your product? Why? Marketing
strategies adopted at this stage. Why?
Domain 6: Determine the price of the product. Refer theory and adopt suitable method
of pricing and give reason why you have selected a particular method of pricing.
Domain 7: Decide upon the levels of channel of distribution for your selected product
and give reason why you selected a particular channel of distribution. (Mention the
geographical area selected to sell the product and weather it is national or international
product)
