CELTA TP OBSERVATION TASK 7:

Eliciting and Checking Understanding

In this task, focus on how effectively trainees elicit and check understanding. Take notes on:

- techniques used to convey meaning, e.g. pictures, mime, anecdotes, etc.

- questions asked to elicit language and later to check understanding (write the questions down
word for word as you hear them).

Conveying Meaning and Eliciting Checking Understanding
