• 50 g of fingering yarn of your choice color apricot for body
• some of same weight of yarn color white for diaper and cap edge
• some of same weight of yarn color yellow for tuft of hair
• some of same weight of yarn color black for the face
• 50 g of sport weight yarn color fluorescent pink for booties and cap
• some of cotton thread n°8 color pale pink
• crochet hook E (3.5 mm)
• crochet hook G (4 mm) for le bonnet and les chaussons
• some stuff
• yarn needle (as long as possible)

Abbreviations and stitch used :

ch = chain
x = single crochet
Dec = decrease => 2 single crochet together
Inc = increase => 2 single crochet on 1 stitch
sl st = slip stitch
hdc = half double crochet

For ears :
Crochet hook E (3.5 mm) and yarn color apricot
Round 1 : in an adjustable ring, work 6 x and 1 sl st on 1st x to make a ring
Round 2 : 6 Inc => 12 x
Round 3 : 12 Inc => 24 x
Round 4 : (1 x, 1 Inc) 12 times => 36 x
Fold piece in two, inserting hook on both sides of piece work 18 x.
Fasten off leaving a long end to sew.
Work second ear.
Sew hear on each side of head, keeping head’s hole on top.

For work tuft of hair :

Crochet hook E (3.5 mm) and yarn color yellow, leaving a long end before starting to work.
Base : ch 23
Row 1 : 1 x on 3rd ch from hook, 1 Dec, 1 x, 1 Dec, 1 hdc, 14 dc, turn
Row 2 : ch 2, 1 dc on same st., 11 dc, 1 hdc, 1 Dec, 1 sl st on next st..
Fasten off and weave in end.
Sew the largest side of tuft on top of head.

To work the eyes :

Crochet hook E (3.5 mm) and black yarn
Base : ch 3
Round 1 : ch 1 for turn, 1 x on 2nd ch from hook, 1 x, 3 x on last ch, (work on the other side of chain
base on free loops), 1 x, 1 Inc on 1st ch, 1 sl st on first x => 8 x
Round 2 : 1 Inc, 1 x, 3 Inc, 1 x, 2 Inc => 14 x
Round 3 : 14 x
Fasten off leaving a long end to sew and embroider eyelash and eyebrow.
With yarn needle and white yarn, work a single sewing point 3 times working between 2 sts on side’s
eye.
Sew eyes on Face (at the same height (do not forget to place the hole of head on top) and with same
yarn end, draw 2 little lines for eyelashes and another for eyebrows.
Weave in end inside head and make a knot to secure end on top of head.

For work the mouth :

Note : is worked in round without ending with a sl st, place a marker on each fist st of a round is
necessary.
With crochet hook 5 ( 1.75 mm) and cotton thread color pale pink, work 6 x in an adjustable ring
then :
Round 2 : 6 Inc => 12 x
Round 3 : (1 x, 1 Inc) 6 times, 1 sl st on next x => 18 x
Fasten off leaving a long end for sewing.
Sew mouth on face.
