“Palayamanan”. The Palayamanan model of diversified integrated rice-based farming system
developed and established by the Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice) is composed of
synergistically compatible farming ventures such as rice, onion, poultry, livestock, and
aquaculture. Launch in 7 provinces and state colleges Zambales, Tarlac, Bulacan, Bataan, Nueva
Ecija, Aklan, and in the Bicol Region

Aurora major crops include rice, coconut, Coffee, bananas, root crops, corn, Citrus fruits,
peanuts and abaca.

Bataan productions range palay (rice), corn, coconuts, Mangoes and bananas, tilapia, bangus
(milkfish), tiger Prawns, mud crabs, and bivalves such as Mussels, oysters and capiz shells

Bulacan produce rice, corn, vegetables, and fruits fish and seafood, Hog/pork, chicken and duck.
Nueva Icija is Rice Granary of the Philippines. Other products includes mangoes, bananas, and
onions, and Livestock ang poultry products.

Pampanga is the “Culinary Capital of the Philippines”. Major products Include rice, corn, sugar
cane, and Tilapia

Tarlac rice and sugarcane (the Principal crops) in Central Luzon. Other Major crops are corn and
coconuts, fruits (bananas, calamansi and mangoes) and Vegetables (eggplants, garlic and
Onions).
