Pre-reading
(15 min)

 In pairs, Ss take turns in saying a word from the Ss-Ss


picture and the other student has to point to the thing Pair work
in the picture.
 Ss answer the three questions in activity C page 71 in Ss-Ss Pair work
pairs.
 Ss give their answers and the T writes some of them Ss-T
on the board to be checked later in the reading stage.
 T reads the story with enthusiasm using varied tones
and expressive gestures while Ss are following on T-Ss
their books.

Reading

 T asks Ss to read the story silently and check the
