SPEAKING

Good morning, I am soukaina, and i am going to talk about a trip wich we can do to
Punta Cana, because I believe is a great place, since we can do so many activities,
like visit Island Saona, taste there are typical dishes, trips to cenote or Hoyo azul,
swim with dolphins on Dolphin Island Park and finally we can visit the waterfall Salto
del Limón.

There are fantastic places we can visit one by one, to begin with the visit of Island
Saona, It is located in the center of the caribbean, to the south of Punta Cana, this
island has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, it is characterized by
white sands and clear waters. It is ideal for people who are looking for peace and
tranquility. On this Island we can go to the Turtle Sanctuary which is in a small town
of 500 habitants called Mano Juan, you can find three types of endangered turtles,
the green turtle, the tingler turtle and the carey turtle. It is the most important
sanctuary in the Dominican Republic.

We could also visit the cenote which is a natural pond of fresh water.

Also we can go to Dolphin Island Park, a theme park where you can swim with
dolphins, snorkeling with sharks and manta Rays.

And finally, we can visit the waterfall Salto del Limón, located in Samaná. It is a large
waterfall surrounded by nature with no locals around.

Now I am going to talk a little about their gastronomy.

The gastronomy of Punta Cana is one of the best in the country, it is very varied and
has many styles such as the following dishes:

1. El moro. This typical dish is prepared for special occasions and eating as a
family. Is a mixture of beans, rice and meat. It is usually eaten on Christmas
Eve.
2. La bandera dominicana. It is a healthy and simple dish, it is made with rice,
stewed meat, beans, salad and fried banana.
3. El sancocho. It is a nutritious dish. To prepare it, they use seven varieties of
meat, and a mixture of banana, yucca and potatoes.

AND THAT’S ALL

THANK YOU FOR LISTEN.
