The source identifier "Commodity Code" permits a string length of up

to 50 characters, whereas the target identifier "Commodity" can have a


maximum of 18 characters only. If a commodity code exceeds 18
characters, you must manually shorten the identifier accordingly.
In addition, for the target Customizing, you must manually define a
unit of measure during the migration; this replacement allows an
easier integration of the business area Commodity Management with
Central Procurement, or vice-versa.
70. Does SAP S4HANA on premise edition support the "Customer
Service" functionality?
Customer Service (CS) provides Service Management functionality
for planning, executing, and billing service orders. CS is used for Field
Service, In House Repair as well as Service Projects. It works in
conjunction with Plant Maintenance (PM) functionality and provides
integration to Resource Related Billing as well as Service Contracts.
CS will be replaced by S/4HANA Service, which will be the new state
of the art Service Management backend as part of SAP S/4HANA.
71. Does SAP S4HANA on premise edition support the "PH_Sample
iView" functionality?
The iView was as an option for Pharmaceutical Sales Reps who were
running CRM Mobile Sales to manage their inventory of free samples.
This functionality is not available within SAP S/4HANA, and no
functional equivalent is available either.
72. Does SAP S4HANA on premise edition support "Customer
Interaction Center (CIC)" functionality?
Basic Call Center help desk application was being executed by
Transaction CIC0. It is technically outdated and not available within
SAP S/4HANA.
Business processes that require a help desk/call center integration
cannot be executed in the customer interaction center anymore;
instead, they must be integrated into the interaction center/help desk
applications offered by SAP S/4HANA, SAP CRM, or SAP
C/4HANA.
73. Are there any data model changes in FIN in SAP S4HANA on
premise edition?
