ABSTRACT
The research methodology involves a thorough review of existing literature on the topic,
including studies that have examined the relationship between class composition and
student performance. Empirical data will be collected through surveys, academic
assessments, and observations to compare the academic achievements of students in
homogeneous and heterogeneous classes at Malasiqui National High School. The
study will also consider factors such as teacher-student interactions, classroom
dynamics, and student demographics to provide a comprehensive analysis of the
effects of class composition on student performance at the school.
The findings of this study are expected to provide valuable insights for educators and
policymakers at Malasiqui National High School and within the DepEd system. By
understanding how class composition influences student learning outcomes,
stakeholders can make informed decisions to create learning environments that support
the diverse needs of students at the school. Additionally, the research aims to contribute
to the ongoing discussions on effective classroom practices, student support services,
and academic achievement strategies within the context of Malasiqui National High
School.
