EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Bloomers Crafts is a small business that aims to serve


customers with handcrafted, handmade satin ribbon flowers.
Bloomers Crafts offered good-value pricing that people and
customers could afford. Bloomers Crafts focuses on giving a good-
quality satin flower. We are selling this satin flower that's
good for celebrating occasions like birthdays, valentines,
anniversaries, Mother’s Day, graduation, etc. as a gift for their
loved ones. Because satin flower is a good presence in any month
of the year.
This business started in January 2024. The business is
owned by a general partnership of three (3) tourism management
students from Holy Cross College of Santa Rosa, Nueva Ecija,
namely Shane Elaine Capili, Abigaile Sebastian, and Jiezi Agripa.
They will act as managers, staff, and cashiers. The skills of the
members show that they can do one thing: craft a satin flower.

The Bloomers Crafts has a Facebook page to promote on


social media to show the different visual looks, colours, and
quantities of flowers where they could choose what combination of
their order they want to have. The potential customer can order
online and see the information that they want to add to their
order, like butterflies and fairy lights. The varieties of satin
flowers we offered were roses, tulips, sunflowers, and garland

II. COMPANY SUMMARY

2.1 ORIGIN OF THE BUSINESS NAME

We chose the name Bloomers Crafts to convey a sense of growth


and creativity in our brand. The word "Bloomers" reflects the
beauty and blossoming nature of our satin ribbon flowers. It
symbolizes the way our crafts bloom into beautiful creations,
much like flowers in nature.

We wanted a name that is appealing to our target market and
highlight the artistic and delicate nature of our products.
"Crafts" emphasizes the handmade, artistic quality of our work,
ensuring that each piece is crafted with care and attention to
detail. Thus, Bloomers Crafts perfectly represents our dedication
to creating beautiful, handmade satin ribbon flowers.

2.2 NATURE OF BUSINESS

The nature of our business is currently online selling in our


Facebook Page, allowing us to reach a broad audience because we
don’t have a physical store yet. Although, we currently don’t
have a permanent store, we sometimes set up pop-up stalls at
Freedom Park, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, to engage directly
with local customers and showcase our products.

To facilitate our online sales, we have created a Facebook


Page, named Bloomers Crafts. This platform enables us to reach a
wide audience, as many people are active on social media,
particularly Facebook. By leveraging the popularity of online
shopping, we can easily attract and connect with potential
customers who appreciate the convenience of browsing and
purchasing from their devices. This approach not only helps us
build brand awareness but also provides a seamless shopping
experience for our customers.

Our satin ribbon flowers are careful crafted using high-


quality materials. Each flower is made with precision and care,
beginning with the careful selection of satin ribbons in various
colors. The process involves cutting the ribbons into precise
shapes, then carefully folding and stitching them to create
realistic and beautiful flower petals. Each flower is assembled
by hand, ensuring that every bouquet is unique and of the highest
quality. This dedication to craftsmanship ensures that our
products stand out and meet the expectations of our discerning
customers.

2.3 FORM OF ORGANIZATION

The form of organization for Bloomers Crafts is a general


partnership consisting of three dedicated members: Shane Elaine
Capili, Abigaile Sebastian, and Jiezi Agripa. Each partner plays
a vital role in the business, handling management, crafting,
customer service, and day-to-day operations to ensure a smooth
and efficient workflow.

The key difference between our satin ribbon flowers and those
offered by other businesses lies in our unique crafting process.
We meticulously attach each petal one-by-one, ensuring a level of
detail and craftsmanship that sets our flowers apart from others
who often rely on pre-made patterns. This individualized approach
not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of our products but also
allows for greater customization and uniqueness in each bouquet.

By managing all aspects of the business ourselves, we maintain

There are many occasions celebrated by people, such as

graduation, and parents day. Sending flowers is also a
good choice to give out a present.

bouquets to make them the best in the market. This includes
experimenting with new designs, color combinations, and bouquet
arrangements to stay ahead of competitors.

Our primary goal is to satisfy customers by offering eye-

The owners of Bloomers Crafts agreed to use a flow chart to


illustrate our production process. In a business setting, it is
crucial to understand and remember the appropriate process, which
is why we employ flow charts as a simple yet efficient tool for
comprehending the business workflow. The production process
provides a clear insight and serves as a guide for maintaining an
effective and consistent approach to our business operations.

The process begins with customers placing orders through our


Facebook Page. Once an order is received, we promptly respond and
send the customer a detailed price list of our satin ribbon
flowers. The customer then specifies the type of satin flowers
they want and the desired pickup or delivery date. We compile all
these details into a “List of Orders,” which ensures an organized
and well-arranged system that helps us manage the number of
orders and track the progress of each order.

After finalizing the order details, we proceed with the


production phase, where we create the satin ribbon flowers as per
the customer’s specifications. Once the flowers are ready, we
notify the customer of the completion. At this stage, the
customer can choose between picking up the order or opting for
delivery. If the customer prefers delivery, we inform them about
the additional delivery fee and the payment method via GCash.

To ensure there are no misunderstandings, we require the


customer to send the payment (including the delivery fee) to our
business GCash account before shipping the items. This step is
crucial to avoid potential scams and ensure the transaction is
secure. If the customer chooses to meet up, we arrange a
convenient time and place for the handover and collect the
payment in person.

Bloomers Crafts is committed to environmental goal of


supporting the concept of reuse, reduce and recycle. In our
production of satin ribbon flowers, we are committed to
minimizing waste and maximizing the use of materials. The excess
fabric, ribbons, papers, or wrappers generated during our
crafting process are either reused or recycle to create a new
bouquet. This practice not only helps in reducing waste but also
allows us to offer unique and creatively designed products.
We are dedicated to reducing the use of excessive materials,
ensuring that nothing goes to waste unnecessarily. If there are
any materials that we cannot reuse or recycle, we make sure to
dispose of them responsibly.

Nueva Ecija. We chose a place that is easy to find and locate:

friends, lovers, students, or anyone else gathers to freely spend
quality time. Availing our hand-made flowers is open for walk-in,
pick-up, and pre-order. Our top-quality flowers are not only
vibrant and durable but also an eco-friendly alternative to fresh
flowers.

Customers frequently get inspired if they believe each


product is unique and fascinating to be bought appropriate for
those who are looking for a perfect gift for their loved ones our
handmade flowers is far better than those of our competitors
because we provide the best flower that we have. We can motivate
customers to buy our handmade flower through our unique ideas and
creativity. Through this idea it will able to meet customer
expectations and satisfaction. They can also freely personalize
their own bouquets according to their preferences. Also this
product is purely made of satin ribbon that is why this is safe

7.4 Pricing

We maintain these pricing because we believe they are


reasonable and allow for a wide consumer base. As we knew that
pricing is crucial to every business, we decided to create a
price that can already be served as a promotion for itself. We
used the pricing technique called Psychological pricing. Whereas,
choosing prices that sound appealing to make products seem more
affordable or attractive. As a result of it, customers who are
cost-conscious will choose our product to buy.

7.5 Distribution Strategy

Bloomers Craft's stall will be located in Freedom Park,


Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija. The Target markets are the
residents/non-residents and visitors in the municipality of
Cabanatuan, Our specific target market is lovable partners and
gift-giver since the majority of our customers are men, we
heavily target those who are in intimate relationships with our
marketing. The business will implement the highest quality
standards for its product.
Our satin flower bouquet can be purchased through walk in,
pick up, delivery and pre-order. Customer will be cater based on
list of order and reservation.
We strive to ensure that every customer is happy and content

When Bloomer’s Crafts transitions into a manufacturing
company and has already established a stall in Freedom Park in
Cabanatuan, with regards to delivery, one of the owners of
bloomer’s crafts and will be the one who will deliver the satin
flowers bouquets to their customers. In terms of walk- in, we
have prepared flowers bouquets in the stall that are ready to
purchase and customers can pick-up their orders in our stall. In
the process of pre-order, the orders will be added to our List of
Orders and will be delivered once it is made based on the
scheduled delivery/pick-up. Payments can be in form of cash or
digital/online payment particularly G-Cash.

Our business is currently online because we don’t have a
physical store yet but sometimes we set up pop-up stall at
Freedom Park, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.
The Bloomers Crafts physical store will be located in Freedom
Park Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija along the park where a lot of
people pass by and it is easy to locate that’s why we decide to
build our stall there, and it is easy catch the attention of
potential customers. Bloomers Crafts continues to actively manage
its Facebook page, providing customers with the convenience of a
Facebook page for inquiries. This means that even if customers
are unavailable to visit our physical stall, they can still
connect with us through our online platform.

11.2 RESULTS OF THE SURVEY

To determine the business's acceptability for entering the


market, and because Bloomers Crafts aims to provide service and
product satisfaction to customers, the company decided to conduct
a survey to identify customer preferences, concerns, and feedback
that will be used to guide the development of a business strategy
and improvement.
Out of 52 respondents, the age of the customer is 17 or
younger, or 34.8%.

30 years old, and the 30-year-old to older group is 9.6%.Our
customers are mostly teenagers and young teenagers.
In gender out of 52 respondents from the female is the most
customer with 55.8%, in male gender has 44.2%.
In number 3, our customer is most motivated to buy on the
occasion of a birthday, with 30.8%. In the other bracket, our
customer bought to us on Valentine's Day with 23.1%. On the
occasion of the anniversary, ours has 15.4%. When it was Mother's
Day, our customer bought us 17.3%.
In the color that customers prefer, 44.2% like the combination
colour of the product and 34.6% like the light colour of the
satin flower. In the dark colour, their customer likes it 21.2%.
In number 5, the customer most appreciates the features of
the satin ribbon flower: variety of colours 48.1%). In other
features, quality of materials has 34.6% and durability has
11.5%.
In number 6, we ask what product our customers like the most:
tulips (34.6%), other flowers like sunflower (30.8%), rose
(28.8%), and garland (5.8%).
How likely are our customers to purchase again from us? Most
of our customers are likely to purchase a product again from us,
with 88.5% and 7.7% being very likely to purchase again in the
future from us.
In number 8, out of 52 respondents, 84.6% would recommend our
product to others, and 15.4% would recommend it, but with
reservations.
Out of 52 respondents, our customer preferred purchasing our
product 50% online and 50% in-store.
Last, how satisfied our customer is with the packaging of

When our second semester started, our professor in our subject
Entrepreneurship Mr. Gianne Justiniano give us task to think a
business and make a business plan. Our group has three members,
we brainstormed individually and shared our ideas. This
assignment led us to establish Bloomers Crafts, a business
specializing in satin ribbon flowers. Throughout this project, I
actively participated and contributed to the group mentally and
physically. My primary responsibility was part II, the Company
Summary, and part V, the Business Strategy. In addition to these
sections, I also shared valuable insights and contributed to part
VI, the Product Plan. My involvement didn’t stop there; I
consistently offer my thoughts and support across almost every
part of our business plan. I think that we all contributed
fairly/equally in terms of effort, time and financial even though
there are errors and trials our group faced we finish it until
the last part. This collaborative efforts helped us create a
comprehensive and well-rounded business plan for Bloomers Crafts.

In the past few months, Our Professor gave us a project to

and hospitality industry. Our group is made of 3 members. The
first thing we do is to think of what business we want and how
does it fit in the market after that we share our ideas and

choose to have flower shop business crafting a satin ribbon and
we named our business Bloomers Craft. We are having hard time to
manage our time at first because were inexperienced in crafting
the flowers and wrapping the bouquets but the time goes by we
finally manage how to wrap a bouquets. . In doing business plan,
there are lots of effort and ideas you need to put to make a good
work. There are trials and errors that we encountered in doing
business plan from starting a business idea until we finish it.
