Issue: AUTODESK KNOWLEDGE NETWORK (/)
When launching an Autodesk product, the following error message is displayed:
Search AutoCAD
Renew your license
To continue using this product, enter a new Serial Number below and
click Activate. To purchase a new license, contact your Autodesk
Reseller or go to the Autodesk eStore.

Causes:
This error typically appears when:
• Subscription expired.
• A new purchased subscription rather than auto-renewing the old one.
• Local license storage files become corrupted.
• Firewall\Passthru server restricting access to Autodesk domains.

Solution:
Verify the below steps one by one, testing the software after each:

Verify the license is valid and not expired

1. Sign in KNOWLEDGE
to Autodesk Account. NETWORK (/)
2. Find the old serial number for the previous subscription and the serial number for the new
subscription. Here is an example:

Note: No old serial number if previous subscription expired over 30 days ago.
3. Install the software using the new serial number and product key or sign in option.
4. Start the software.

Reset the local license information

1. Follow the steps indicated in the article How to change or reset licensing on your Autodesk
software

to-change-or-reset-licensing-on-your-Autodesk-software.html) to reset local license
information.
2. Run the software again. If asked, log in with the Autodesk credentials.
