Accomplishment Report

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) was created on May 18, 1994 through
the passage of Republic Act No. 7722, or the Higher Education Act of 1994. CHED, an
attached agency to the Office of the President for administrative purposes, is headed by
a chairperson and four commissioners, each having a term of office of four years. The
Commission En Banc acts as a collegial body in formulating plans, policies and
strategies relating to higher education and the operation of CHED.

Accomplishment of my internship journey was a great challenge for me. Why? It's because of
the different routines I've had experience with on how to handle some files. I validated the
scholarship by checking their information at different universities within region 6; I also attended
their conference on my second day of internship. They amazed me because I already knew how
to use some software, and they assigned me as technical personnel during the conference.
They also guided me on how to proceed. Therefore, I learn a lot. To my knowledge of the office
procedure I applied, when I used the telephone, they had two rings to answer the telephone and
greet their clients, "Good morning, Ched Mabuhay." I scanned some files to see the active
communication and the not-active communication; therefore, they prioritized the active for fast
processing. I learned a lot about how to process the inventory. It might be that sometimes I can't
understand how to work properly in the office; therefore, I feel curious about myself, thinking
that I can be a productive employee someday.

The knowledge I gained was excellent for managing many events that occurred
during my internship; it was exciting and exhilarating to be able to manage them. I also
learned how to handle some files. I validated the scholarship by checking their
information at different universities within region 6. I realized that I felt great and was
happy to work on it, which was very helpful to my journey as a great person. I learned
some circumstances to conquer it. The subject office procedure means a lot to me
because I applied some telephone etiquette and know the office layout. What is the
design of the office layout? The design of their office is cubicle, as you will know
because they have barriers at each of their desks. I realize a lot about being a good
student and advise you to study hard because when you're at work, the environment is
different and you will feel not normal, but you will be patient. speaking to them.
Therefore, I realized my learning about etiquette and applied it in the office. The
inventory is very confusing work because if you're a newbie to that working cycle, you
will be confused on how to start first, but Sir Dexter taught me every piece of the data of
the employee so I can follow him every time I ask him, and he answers me and guides
me step by step. I realize I can apply this routine soon to my future plan; therefore, it
can help me to be a strong person as a man. As a man, there are few of us who take
office; therefore, I will keep this as a milestone, achieving it with dedication. I put a
sticker of the inventory. After the printing, I will go to Sir Grey to sign each person

The problem I will address is based on my experience; this is a real situation, not
my imagination. We will start. The problem I countered first is that some employees are
very upset and doubt us because we have many internship students inside the office, so
we can see the flow of the office. Therefore, I will keep my mouth shut because they
sometimes say nonsense. About their co-worker, but I will remain vigilant every time.
My best way to resolve that problem is to remain calm and, inhale, exhale; therefore, my
mind will not sink it totally. Also, some problems are that the first day of our internship is
very awkward because Sir Jimmy hr. of the chedro taught us to remain calm without
doing the office load. Me and Jennifer find ways to resolve this by asking Sir Jimmy to
deploy us to the SIKAP office because they have a lot to do and to accomplish rather
than his office without doing until the end of the day. I'm the person I encountered
during my OJT. Their employee gave me a duty to buy Coca-Cola inside the office. The
guard of the chedro6 laughed at me for taking the Coca-Cola bottle into the
convenience store, and I asked myself why it was not my duty to meet their needs
because I had to do so. At that time, I'm the person accountable for the inventory of
their item. That time, they celebrated something I didn't know. And I tell myself, I know
it's not fine, but I need to do it because I'm the person who was assigned to the 3rd
floor. I overcame that problem by being brave and thinking maturely. The problem is
that sometimes they abuse their ranks because they have positions. I notice that their
co-worker gives them a duty to do, but the work is not assigned to that person. But I
give treatment to their coworkers to give them a smile because, to forget the pain they
carry due to some reason, the elderly employee of chedro6 finds it very difficult for them
to socialize. But I will be found, even though I'm not noticing any of them, and I greet
them with a nice attitude. They use their rank to abuse the coworkers because some
are newbies, but not too many. But I am really upset because they say, "Ma Retired
naman ko ah." That reason is trash because some other people inside the 3rd floor are
not the same as others, but I will keep them and set aside not to be affected. I learned
to dedicate my internship to doing things right and not wrong, and I will be the person
who reports them to their directors if we abuse them. We have freedom of choice even
though we are internship students because we want to learn so much. Lastly, that day, I
experienced the person who rebuked me because I was wrong. She spoke, but I
reasoned, "Ma'am ga sunod lang ko sa order saakon" with a nice tone because I didn't
know the right master list, so they addressed it and expressed their concerns. The other
day, Ma'am Sonia spoke to me; I didn’t know who obliged; I just forgot she spoke.
