CONFINED SPACE ENTRY PROCEDURES FLOWCHART

Entry precautions: Entrance Covers. Any conditions making it unsafe to remove an entrance cover must be eliminated before the
cover is removed. When the entrance covers are removed, the opening must be promptly guarded as necessary to prevent an
accidental fall through the opening and to protect the entrants from external hazards.

-Identify and evaluate all potential hazards


a) Review Departmental Inventory.
b) Review entry protocols.
c) Perform any needed air monitoring.
d) Re-evaluate using CSE certification
