PROCESSIONAL: CANDIDATES FOR GRADUATION WITH PARENTS

ALTAR SERVERS WITH THE PRESIDER

INTRODUCTION

Good morning my dear brothers and sisters in Christ, and welcome to our
Baccalaureate Mass. Today is indeed, one of the most memorable days of our
lives. It marks our success after our great effort for the quest of Catholic
Education. Yet, graduation is not the end of our endeavors. Rather, it is the
beginning of a new life- a new life of facing more challenges and more
responsibilities, a new life with a MISSION.

Today we celebrate our achievements and together with my fellow graduates,

we present our hopes, plans, future and joys to our Almighty mentor, our Lord
Jesus Christ. We thank God for all the blessings we have received and ask
Him to grant us the courage to continue our mission of being witnesses to our
faith. Together as a faith community, we join our hearts and mind in
celebrating the Holy Eucharist especially for the love, care, patience and
sacrifices of our parents, guardians, teachers and school administrators. May
all their efforts in educating us throughout the years may bear fruit
abundantly. As we move on, we thank God for all the blessings we have
received and ask Him to grant us the courage to continue our mission of being
witnesses to our faith.

With grateful hearts, let us all stand as we welcome one another and our
celebrant, Rev. FR. MLEX GEVERO as we sing our entrance hymn.

ENTRANCE HYMN: (Sung)

P: Dearest learners the day of your Graduation and has

come. I am taking part today in this joyful celebration of
yours. Today marks a new beginning in your lives with
your parents, teachers and friends. We look toward the
past in thanksgiving for all the blessings that God has
bestowed upon us. We also look for the future with sure
hope and unfailing confidence with God our loving
Father, He who surrounds your childhood with great
care and protection, will also carry out the goal He has
prepared for you that you may bear fruits a hundredfold.
And so, to make our sacrifices acceptable to God, let us
ask for His mercy and forgiveness.

2

PRESIDER: Graduates, as we mark this special occasion in your lives, your

parents, teachers, sisters and lay administrators and friends ask
God to bless you, and keep you every step of your journey, as
you continue to grow in God’s love and serve God’s Church.

So coming together as one family, let us call to mind our sins and
be sorry for the many times we have been ungrateful to God’s
generosity and goodness to us.

ALL: I confess to Almighty God and to you, my brothers and

sisters for I have greatly sinned, in my thoughts, and in
my words, in what I have done and in what I have
failed to do, through my fault, through my fault,
through my most grievous fault; therefore I ask blessed
Mary ever- virgin, all the angels and saints, and you, my
brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God.

 That the Church may give courageous witness and

boldly proclaim Christ’s message to the world.
Let us pray to the Lord.

 That those who live in loneliness and despair may

experience the comforting presence of God’s love.
Let us pray to the Lord.

5
 That those who feel low or depressed may realize the
true worth of their lives.

 That in their weakness, the sick and the

handicapped may discover the power of the risen
Christ.
Let us pray to the Lord.

 That our beloved Alma Mater, the St. Anthony College

of Roxas City, Inc., together with the administrators,
alumni, faculty and staff, parents and learners may
always be in good health and that the favor of the
Lord be always upon us to render our heartfelt service
to all and become what God wants us to be. Let us
pray to the Lord.

 That all of us graduates of St. Anthony College of

Roxas City, Inc. may assimilate the beauty of our
Christian faith and be constantly nourished by the
Word of God and the Eucharist.
Let us pray to the Lord.

 That those who helped us in our spiritual growth

especially the clergy of the archdiocese of Capiz, the DC

serve in touching the lives of others and do their
ministry faithfully.

6
Let us pray to the Lord.

 That those who have died especially the members of

the Vincentian family and alumni of St. Anthony
College of Roxas City, may they experience the
renewed life brought by the risen Christ, whose
passion and death liberate us from the slavery of sin.

ArchBp Lazo: Let us give thanks to Lord our God.

All: It is right and just.

P: It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation, at all
times to acclaim you, O Lord, but in this time above all to laud you
yet more gloriously, when Christ our Passover has been sacrificed. He
never ceases to offer himself for us but defends us and ever pleads
our cause before you: he is the sacrificial Victim who dies no more,
the Lamb, once slain, who lives forever.

Therefore, overcome with paschal joy, every land, every people

exults in your praise and even the heavenly Powers, with the angelic
hosts, sing together the unending hymn of your glory, as they
acclaim:

Commentator: Please kneel.

Song: HOLY

EUCHARISTIC PRAYER II

P: You are indeed Holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness. Make holy,
therefore, these gifts, we pray, by sending down your
Spirit upon them like the dewfall, so that they may become for
us the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. At the time he
was betrayed his Passion, he took bread and, giving thanks,
broke it, and give it to his disciples, saying:

TAKE THIS ALL OF YOU, AND EAT OF IT, FOR THIS IS MY

BODY, WHICH WILL BE GIVEN UP FOR YOU.

In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice

and, once more giving thanks, he gave it to his disciples, saying:

8
TAKE THIS, ALL OF YOU, AND DRINK FORM IT, FOR THIS IS
THE CHALICE OF MY BLOOD, THE BLOOD OF THE NEW AND
ETERNAL COVENANT, WHICH WILL BE POURED OUT FOR YOU
AND FOR MANY FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SIN. DO THIS IN
MEMORY OF ME.

ArchBp Lazo: The mystery of faith.

MEMORIAL ACCLAMATION: Sung

PRESIDER: Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his Death and

Resurrection, we offer you, Lord, the bread of life and the
chalice of salvation, giving thanks that you have held us
worthy to be in your presence and minister to you. Humbly we
pray that, partaking of the Body and Blood of Christ, we may
be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit.
Remember, Lord, your Church, spread throughout the world,
and bring her to the fullness of charity together with Francis
our Pope, Victor our bishop and all the clergy.

Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep
in the hope of resurrection, and all who have died in your
mercy: welcome them into the light of your face.

Have mercy on us all, we pray, that with the Blessed Virgin

Mary, Mother of God, with blessed Joseph, her spouse, with
the blessed Apostles, St. Anthony de Padua, Sts. Vincent de
Paul and Louise de Marillac, and all the Saints who have
pleased you throughout the ages, we may merit to be coheirs to
eternal life, and may praise and glorify you through your Son,
Jesus Christ.

THROUGH HIM, AND WITH HIM, AND IN HIM, O GOD,

ALL GLORY AND HONOR IS YOURS, FOR EVER AND EVER.
