1. What is the purpose of Management Information System

The primary purpose of a Management Information System (MIS) is to help


organizations make informed decisions based on data and information. MIS collects,
processes, stores, and distributes information to support decision-making processes at
different levels of an organization. It provides managers with the necessary data and
reports to analyze trends, track performance, and make strategic decisions that can
enhance operational efficiency and overall productivity

2. What is the Major fundamental Area of Management of Information System


One of the major fundamental areas of Management Information Systems (MIS)
is Data Management. This area focuses on the collection, storage, processing, and
organization of data within an organization. Data Management ensures that data is
accurate, secure, and easily accessible when needed for decision-making processes.

3. Why we are Using Management Information System

We are using Management Information Systems (MIS) for many reasons. One
