LEARNING OBJECTIVES By the end of the lesson, most of the pupils will be able to:-

PRE-LESSON Combination of Numbers (Text book –Page 12–15)


1. Pupils listen to teacher LO.

LESSON 1. Teacher shows 2 groups of cubes, which are 1 and 5. Teacher asks pupils to count them
DEVELOPMENT all. Pupils need to relate their counting with how they count to get 6 cubes. Teacher
helps pupils to see the relationship between 1 and 5 to make 6. (HOTS)
2. Pupils are guide to see the relationship between the groups and altogether. The
combination of two groups will result as altogether and is defined as the combination of
numbers.
3. Activities are carry out in pairs and pupils are ask to say one number plus one number
between 0 and 10, and his/her partner says the combination of that numbers. Pupils
exchange roles for other combination of numbers. Counters are used to help pupils
understand it quickly. (21st CA)
4. Pupils do activity book (Page 22-23). (CBA)
POST-LESSON. 6. Teacher summarizes the lesson for today.
