LEARNING OBJECTIVES By the end of the lesson, mostof the pupils will be able to:
1. Use with support familiar print and digital resources to check meaning
2. Spell a range of high frequency words accurately in independent writing
SUCCES CRITERIA 1. Show the quantity of the given number and match group of objects.
LESSON 2. Teacher explains to pupils that numeral is symbol for the number or amount of objects.
DEVELOPMENT
3. Pupils are guide to write number in numerals and words with the correct technique.
4. Teacher shows to pupils some counters and ask them to write the numbers and its words to
represent the number of counters.
5. In groups, pupils are ask to write numbers and its words. (21st CA)

LEARNING OBJECTIVES In the end of the class, pupils will be able to:
(ii)Add any two numbers up to four digits with regrouping from ones to tens
PRE-LESSON 1. Pupils study the pictures on page 27, textbook. Pupils explain the picture and relate the picture
with addition
LESSON 1. With guidance, pupils carry out addition using counter such as abacus
DEVELOPMENT 2. Teacher emphasizes that digit must be arranged according to place values correctly for
addition of standard written form
3. Teacher encourages the pupils to use simulation, number line, representative and picture to
add any two numbers
4. Teacher reminds the pupils to add the number from ones, followed by tens, hundreds and
thousands
5. Teacher divides the pupils into groups
6. Each group gets different set of addition questions. Pupils answer the quick quiz through
discussion
7. Pupils share the answers and solving strategies with other groups
8. Pupils answer the questions within the given time (CBA)
9. Teacher and pupils discuss the answers (HOTS)
POST-LESSON. 10. Pupils make the correction and conclude today’s lesson
