TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Trade-in units will be accepted from 1 Jul - 30 Nov 2021 for
Atmosphere SKY and 15 Jul - 30 Nov 2021 for Atmosphere
Mini at Amway Shops only.

2. ATS and AAP trade-in units will be accepted regardless of

age of use.

3. Trade-in vouchers issued are valid from 1 Jul - 31 Dec 2021,

subject to voucher issuance date, please refer to item no. 4.

4. Once a trade-in unit has been submitted, the redemption

must be completed by the last day of the following month.
For example,
#Scenario 1: If ABO trade-in on 1 July 2021, redemption
must be done by 31 August 2021.
#Scenario 2: If ABO trade-in on 31 July 2021, redemption
must be done by 31 August 2021.

5. No extension of the redemption period will be allowed.

6. Trade-in programme is not applicable with other ongoing

promotions except GWP.

7. For trade-in, ABO is required to pre-determine whether to opt

for Atmopshere SKY, Atmosphere MINI. In the event of a
change in decision, please email
myhelpdesk@amway.com or drop by the nearest Amway
Shop.

TRADE-IN PROCESS DURING MCO*

In the event that Amway Shops remain closed due to MCO* in your area, Amway will support
ABOs & APCs with the following trade-in process:

• ABOs living in affected MCO* areas are NOT required to present their physical trade-in unit at Amway Shops.

• Email myhelpdesk@amway.com with the following information:

1. Confirm your ABO details (ABO number) or that of your downline (trade-in coupon to be issued).
2. State the quantity of trade-in requests and attach a clear picture of the intended trade-in unit.
3. Provide trade-in unit details (model, serial number, etc)
4. Specify which Amway Shop the trade-in unit will be dropped off at once the MCO* is lifted.
5. Please add the following prefixes that are relevant in your email subject to help us expedite your trade in
request:
 Sample email subject for single trade-in unit: Atmosphere SKY/Mini Trade-In ATS
 Sample email subject for multiple trade-in units: Atmosphere SKY/Mini Trade-In ATS/AAP/X-Brand
• All trade-in units MUST be submitted within 1 month after the MCO* is lifted. Failure to comply will result in
suspension of your future trade-in participation.
• An email confirmation will be sent within 5 working days to the provided email address with the redemption
coupon. To avoid missing the deadline of your trade-in redemption, please submit your trade-in request email at
least 5 working days prior to the last day of the trade-in promotion. If you do not receive an email confirmation
within 5 working days, please check your Amway account for coupon details.

• Once the MCO* is lifted and Amway Shops are open for business, kindly present the physical trade-in unit at the
Amway Shop closest to your location.

VERIFICATION

GLOBAL BUSINESS STEWARDSHIP –

HIGHER AWARD VERIFICATION
To ensure the development of a balance, sustainable and profitable business, Amway provides additional
support to its leaders in the form of the ABO Higher Award Tracking Review. The review process will run in
tandem with our performance year (i.e. 1 Sep 2021 to 31 Aug 2022).

Amway Leaders take pride in wearing the Award pins presented by Amway because such awards & rewards
are earned through the ABOs’ own effort. As Amway is built on a tradition of ethical business standards &
integrity, no one can buy a position or pin in the business. Here are more details on the Higher Award
Verification.

VERIFICATION
For higher award qualification of new SPs & above, Amway will only recognise true business growth and thus,
will not necessarily grant automatic recognition based solely on technical grounds. All qualifications will be
subject to verification and review before any recognition is accorded.

During the review process, we may request for customer receipts/customer details for the justification of the
qualifying volume. Such a verification process is part of the global review process under the Higher Award
Verification. Please be reminded on the following Rules of Conduct:

“Section 4.6 – Written Sales Receipt: An ABO who takes and/or delivers an order in
person shall deliver to the customer at the time of sale,
a written and dated order or receipt which shall:
(a) describe the product(s) sold, (b) state the price charged, and (c) give the name,
address, and telephone number of the selling ABO.”

achievement unless an official confirmation from Amway
has been received.
All Triple Diamond and above qualifications are subject
to final confirmation from Amway Global and it may be
confirmed at a later date.

PRE-REQUISITES FOR NEW &

REQUALIFIED SP & GP AND 1ST TIME PLATINUM

In addition to the five (5) Global KPIs, our monthly review

process will run in tandem with the pre-requisite.
Before qualifying as a new Platinum, all ABOs are required to undergo a Tenure pre-
requisites and six (6) months of verification and approval along with the five (5) Global
KPIs as previously mentioned.

A Tenure Requirement will be applied to first timer SPs only. It requires a minimum of 3 full business
months before an ABO can qualify at the SP level (excluding the month when the ABO signed up).

If the ABO does not meet the minimum threshold for one or more KPIs and/or tenure requirement, we will
send a preliminary non-recognition of qualification letter to the respective upline Platinum. However,
30 days will be given to the ABO to prove the legitimacy of his/her business volume.

During the review process,

we may request for customer receipts/customer details for the justification of the qualifying volume.
Such a verification process is part of the global review process under the Higher Award Verification.

A non-recognised month may negatively impact the qualification of the upline(s) in the LOS
and the international LOS (if any).

As an upline Platinum and Amway leader, we appreciate your cooperation in educating your ABOs
accordingly.

1. What is the Unauthorised Sales
Policy and what are the sanctions?
The Unauthorised Sales Policy was
developed to address the issue of the
inappropriate selling of Amway products
on unauthorised third party platforms
(physical and digital retail stores) where
Amway products are resold and made
available in the local market or
overseas. These behaviour deeply
impact ABOs and are in violation of
Amway’s Rules of Conduct. Violations
of this nature disrupt the market order
and damage the legitimate rights and
interests of Amway and its ABOs.
Once a violation of the type described
above is confirmed and a termination is
imposed, Amway will deduct the
relevant Volume generated from the
current Performance Year. In addition,
the uplines' Qualification months, overall
Qualification, and other annual benefits
(including annual bonuses, discretionary
incentives, and related rewards and
awards, including business seminars,
incentive trips and other events) may be
impacted.
2. Is this a change? Why is Amway
making this change now?
The sanction of termination for
unauthorised selling has been in place
for many years in Malaysia
/Singapore/Brunei (MSB) and has
always impacted the local uplines and
their awards/rewards. To ensure the
integrity of the operation of the Amway
Sales and Marketing Plan, uplines
(including International Sponsors) of
those ABOs found to be in violation of
the Rules and terminated as such will
also be impacted. This impact on
uplines is effective from the start of the
2021 Performance Year (PY).
3. Why is the termination of a downline
ABO or APC impacting the upline?
The impact occurs as a result of the
Unauthorised Sales Policy and the
Volume Deduction Policy in MSB.
According to Amway MSB's Rules of
Conduct, ABOs in violation of the
Unauthorised Sales Policy will be
terminated, and any Volume generated
in the Performance Year will be
deducted. Under this Volume Deduction
Policy, the deducted Volume will also
have an impact on uplines both locally in
MSB and internationally. As an
international upline, the international
award you may be receiving from the
MSB leg may be impacted. An APC is
not allowed to sell or resell Amway
products. In case of a breach of the
terms and conditions in place for APCs,
Amway reserves the right to cancel the
APC membership at any time upon
written notice.
4. What type of Volume will be
deducted?
When an ABO or APC is terminated due
to an unauthorised sales violation, the
Personal Volume and Group Volume
generated by the violating ABO or APC
will be deducted from the first month of
the PY (i.e. September) through the

5. What do uplines need to do when
receiving an investigation
notification email from Business
Conduct and Rules?
After receiving the notification email
from the MSB Business Conduct and
Rules (BCR), the upline should
cooperate with the investigation. Amway
and BCR also recommend that the
upline carefully assess whether it is
necessary to make any adjustments to
their own business plan for the
Performance Year.
Amway and BCR will be able to provide
the business impact to the upline upon
final determination of the investigation.
6. What can a terminated ABO do in
the event the ABO disagrees with
the termination?
The ABO has the right to request an
appeal of their case for review by the
International Review Panel under the
Amway Rules of Conduct Section 13 –
International Review Panel.

that you have worked hard to build, we have updated the Rules of Conduct specifically Sub-Section 4.9 in Section 4 -
Responsibilities and Obligations of all ABOs.
4.9 Deceptive or Unlawful Trade Practices: No ABO shall engage in any deceptive or unlawful trade practice.
(NEW) 4.9.1 No ABO shall engage in and/or promote any program that requires a group of participants to subscribe
and/or contribute monies at regular intervals to a common fund for the primary purpose of purchasing
Amway products, including but not limited to a kootu fund arrangement.

ABOs are not allowed to promote kootu programmes and/or postings, both online and offline (including, but not limited to
printed material; literature; websites and social media pages; audio, video, live streaming and digital media; blogs,
podcasts, and mobile applications; rallies, meetings, and seminars). This includes programmes that are ‘in disguise’.
1. Any direct or or implied words (for example, ‘tabung’, ‘program’, ‘bajet’, etc) is NOT PERMITTED.

Name Change for Nutrilite's Supplement

The Nutrilite Botanical Beverage Mix Acerola with Licorice & Turmeric
(300475) will be referred as the Nutrilite Botanical Beverage Mix Cherry
with Licorice & Turmeric (300475) effective immediately.

The new product label with minor changes will be seen on the product
packaging sometime end of this month or early October 2021 as we begin
to sell new stocks.

As deemed by local authorities, the word 'acerola’ cannot be used to name

a product that falls under the food supplement category. Hence, it has been
replaced with the word 'cherry'. Please be assured that the supplement still
contains the same formulation and levels of efficacy.
