AN ORDER RE-ORGANIZING THE BARANGAY SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT

COMMITTEE (BSWMC) OF BARANGAY G BORONGAN CITY EASTERN SAMAR,
PROVIDING IT’S COMPOSITION, ROLES, RESPONSABILITIES AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES;

WHEREAS: In compliance to City Ordinance No. 37 known as the “ City Comprehensive

Ecological Solid Waste Management Ordinance” provide for the role and responsibilities of
barangay to organize/re-organize and strengthen their respective Barangay Solid Waste
Management Council;

Now Therefore I, MA. NIRENE E. RAMOS, Punong Barangay of Barangay G Borongan City
Eastern Samar by the power vested on me by law do hereby order the following;

Section 1: ORGANIZING THE (BSWMC) to compose of the following:

SECTION 2: DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:

1. Formulate an annual Solid Waste Management Program

2. Segregation and collection of biodegradable, compostable, reusable waste.
3. Establish Materials Recovery Facilities (MRF)
4. Mobilize citizen’s participation in local development efforts and shall perform other function as
may provide by law.
5. Coordinate on higher agencies on matters that are beyond the capacity of the council to address

SECTION 3: REPEALING CLAUSE- All previous issuances inconsistent with this Executive Order are
hereby repealed and/or modified accordingly.

SECTION 4: EFFECTIVITY- This Executive Order takes effect immediately
