Jet received the Special Jury Award for Best in Debussy in the National Music
Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA), Category A2 in 2012. Grand Prize
and Special Prize for Best Interpretation of Contest Piece in Junior Piano
Category of NAMCYA 2016, 1st Prize in Category 3 of Steinway Youth Piano
Competition 2016, 2nd Prize in Category C of PTGPFI Bach and Baroque Piano
Competition 2018, 3rd Prize in the Intermediate Category of UCSI International
Piano Competition 2014 in Malaysia, and Honorable Mention in the open
category of Henrietta S. Tayengco-Limjoco (HSTL) Mozart Piano Concerto
Competition 2016 and also participated in the Taiwan Piano Festival in 2017, the
Yong Siew Toh Conservatory’s Piano Academy and the Manila International
Piano Masterclasses Festival in 2018.
He will soon be pursuing his music studies in National University of Singapore's
Yong Siew Toh Conservatory under a full scholarship.
Manila Symphony Orchestra 馬尼拉交響樂隊
Founded in 1926, the Manila Symphony Orchestra (MSO) is one of Asia’s first
symphony orchestras. The orchestra was established by Viennese conductor Dr.
Alexander Lippay who led the group until his death in 1939, after which Dr.
Herbert Zipper succeeded him as conductor for the next 30 years. In the 1970s,
various conductors led the orchestra including Oscar Yatco, Helen Quach, and
Regalado Jose. The MSO was reorganized in 2001 by its long-time
concertmaster Prof. Basilio Manalo.
At present, the MSO is composed of around 60 musicians and has performed in
all major concert venues in the Metro and throughout the country. Many of the
members of the MSO are professional musicians who, in addition to their
leadership roles in the orchestra, are also active participants in the cultural life of
the country as soloists, music educators, music arrangers, chamber music
MSO’s mission is to enrich the Filipino’s vibrant cultural life through fine
orchestral music and to enable more people to experience the power of music.
MSO aims to perform within the highest international standards and present
music in a fresh, spirited, and entertaining way.

Matty, is a Grade 5 student under the Seton Homeschooling Program. He was
featured in several concerts of top artists such as David Pomeranz, Sharon
Cuneta, Lani Misalucha and Philippine Madrigal Singers. Matty has also
participated in prestigious piano competitions. He placed 2nd runner-up during
the 2017 Steinway Piano Competition, and the Grand Winner for Category A1
and was also awarded as Best in Kasilag or Contest Piece during 2019 Piano
Teachers’ Guild of the Philippines (PTGP) Competition.
Aleksandra Sofiya Mari Yap Sy 施吉艷
Aleks is an incoming grade 11 student at Chiang Kai Shel College. Aleks has
won in several singing competitions she joined, bagging the top prize in
prestigious competions such as andarin Category of the 14th Annual Song
Festival held in the Lyceum of the Philippines University- Champion (2018);

to develop its students by providing quality education for the enrichment
