Use
This product must only be used with Sinorix™ fixed automatic extinguishing systems based
on fire-inhibiting gases.

Functions
This actuator is a solenoid valve. Made of two parts:
● The body is to be mounted on a M22x1.5 port of the cylinder valve. It is connected to the
port of the cylinder valve via a FLEJIC-type flexible hose.
● The electrical connector is to be connected to the BORA junction box.
The inlet chamber is permanently pressurized. When the solenoid valve is energized, it
opens and allows pressure to enter the outlet chamber.

Safety
This product may only be installed by Siemens-authorized specialized installers, with
experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of automatic extinguishing systems.
During installation, it must be ensured that:
● this product is installed in compliance with the accident prevention regulations and
national regulations in force,
● this product is used as intended,
● any danger is avoided,
● Siemens requirements are met (assembly instructions, technical instructions,
commissioning, and operating instructions),
● the operators have received and understood the information related to this product.
At commissioning, ensure compliance with the legislation in force, technical regulations, and
safety instructions.
Failure to comply with Siemens' instructions may result in serious bodily injury or significant
property damage, for which Siemens cannot be held liable.
Siemens reserves the right to make technical modifications and/or improvements at any
time.
Mounting

Refer to the commissioning instructions for detailed assembly procedures.

Electrical connection
● Connect the actuation voltage to pins 1 and 2 (polarity-independent).

1. Mount the DEMADEM-NG according to the flow direction:

Inlet: 1
Outlet: 2
2. Tighten the DEMADEM-NG using a wrench. Do not overtighten.
Maintenance

Storage
● Store in its original packaging, protected from shocks.

Inspection every six months

● Check that the product is in a good condition.
● Check by hand that the product is corrected tightened and re-tighten if necessary.

Only use actuators in good condition.

Disposal

This symbol or any other national label indicate that the product, its
packaging, and, where applicable, any batteries may not be disposed of as
domestic waste. Delete all personal data and dispose of the item(s) at
separate collection and recycling facilities in accordance with local and
national legislation.
