Thank you for joining the 4th Asia Youth Summit Program “Peace & Security:
Integrating Youth-led Solutions Through Inclusive Collaboration For a Safer
World”. As organizers of this program, we would like to give a very warm wel-
come to all AYS applicants from many countries all over the world. Even though
we all come from different backgrounds, cultures, and identities, by joining this
program, we have the same vision which is to develop a structured leadership
style with vision and generate inspiring innovation.

There are no words that can describe how grateful and pleased we are as the
committee of this program. We really hope that all of you will continue to provide
support for AYS, so that we can continue to empower and connect more leaders
from around the world. We aim to create a good and lasting relationship with
you all, not only during the program but also after the program. We hope to see
you soon at The Asia Youth Summit 2024!

GYA PROFILE
Global Youth Ambassador (GYA) is a community that accommodates young
people to be able to develop themselves and contribute positively to society so
that young people can move to find solutions to provide opportunities for our
brothers and sisters in various regions to be able to experience the process of
development of the times through activities. The events held are volunteer work
and conferences.

Global Youth Ambassador (GYA) creates national and international programs

that all youth can participate from all over the world. The program is expected to
produce youth who are aware of the problems that exist in various regions and
encourage youth by providing a moral approach based on education that focus-
es on cultivating character values and noble character and strives to provide new
horizons and national culture. The goal is to produce quality youth and improve
people's lives in the economic, educational, and social sectors.

With the Global Youth Ambassador (GYA), it is hoped that the delegates can
benefit and help pass on their knowledge to others. So that the main goals can
be achieved optimally and become one of the efforts to solve problems and
advance the future of the world.
VISION
Realizing the young generation who have good spiritual, intellectual,
emotional integrity, and are able to develop their potential to answer the chal-
lenges of global life in all fields to contribute to building the nation together.

MISSION
1. Improve professionalism, capability, and reliable human resources in terms of
managing the organization, creating networks, and sensitivity to any social prob-
lem that occurs in the community.
2. Assist and increase youth participation in the field of social empowerment.
3. Guide the role and function of the youth as the spearhead of national develop-
ment.

AYS PROGRAM BACKGROUND

Nowadays, The development is going faster than before and every young
generation needs to adapt to this condition and capability is needed to deal with
it. However, there are several areas in this world, known as undeveloped areas,
that need more effort to be put into being able to improve the standard of living
in terms of the economy, education, health, and social environment. In point of
fact, people have known that the process of efforts to improve living standards
does not have an equal impact due to various aspects. That is why youth play an
important role in this part of life. They are a key for making a sustainable life and
changing the human future for the better. In dealing with global issues such as
climate change, social diversity, inequality, and economic instability, youth have
the potential to provide significant innovation and contribution.
As youth future leaders, it's our responsibility to find ways to give chances to
people who live in other parts of the country so that they can participate in the
development process. One of the efforts that can help to realize this desire is
through program designs related to social problems. The program design is an
idea to make a real contribution, especially in developing the welfare and prog-
ress of the nation.
GOALS
Asia Youth Summit (AYS) exists as a platform that delivers an occasion for
the young generation to speak, innovate, and contribute to finding sustainable
solutions. This program is held in a conference forum. Every youth will be given
the opportunity to convey their ideas, share their experiences, and discuss inno-
vative solutions to global challenges. In this forum, youth will become the main
actors that are heard, acknowledged, and valued in expressing their sights on
global issues right now. The Asia Youth Summit (AYS) will also provide youth with
opportunities to collaborate, interact, and also connect with other youth from
various countries. Through the exchange of ideas and experiences, youth will
learn about cultural diversity, global understanding, and international coopera-
tion, which will be a valuable asset in creating holistic and positive impact solu-
tions.

PROGRAM THEME
This event is 4 days forum that will encourage future leaders to discuss
and find the resolution for the problem and take action for a better world in the
future. The main theme of the Asia Youth Summit is:

The event spans four days, dedicated to exploring the primary and auxilia-
ry themes highlighted during the summit. Central to the Asia Youth Summit
(AYS) lies the theme "Peace & Security: Integrating Youth-led Solutions Through
Inclusive Collaboration For a Safer World", emphasizing the imperative of culti-
vating proactive leadership among youth, driven by a clear vision and innovative
solutions to foster global peace and security. This chosen theme underscores the
pivotal role of youth in addressing pressing global challenges, particularly in pro-
moting peace and security amidst escalating global conflicts.

The selection of "Peace & Security: Integrating Youth-led Solutions

Through Inclusive Collaboration For a Safer World" as the summit's centerpiece
aligns with the collective ambition to forge a more sustainable and equitable
future. As custodians of tomorrow, young people possess the innate ability to
catalyze meaningful change and offer inventive solutions to intricate global
issues. It is incumbent upon us, as future leaders, to advocate for inclusivity and
equal opportunity, ensuring the active engagement of diverse perspectives in
the pursuit of progress.

In opting for Thailand as the host nation for this youth forum and confer-
ence, deliberate consideration was given to the pivotal role of the country in
fostering youth empowerment and international cooperation. Thailand's vibrant
cultural landscape and diplomatic ethos provide an ideal backdrop for nurturing
dialogue and collaboration among young minds from diverse backgrounds. By
convening the summit in Thailand, we aim to facilitate cross-cultural exchange
and promote dialogue on critical global issues, in line with Thailand's commit-
ment to fostering international understanding and cooperation.

Selection Implementation
File selection is a selection based on the essays in the registration form

Interview Selection is the final stage of selection where this will deter-
mine the participant who passes and become a fully funded program
delegate. In this selection, the prospective delegates must be able to
answer questions and provide ideas or innovations that will be presented.
