IEC 62443 is a series of international standards on industrial communication networks for IT security for
networks and systems. IEC 62443 was initially developed for industrial control systems but now serves several
additional industries who are adopting this cybersecurity standard for other top manufacturing industries. There
are several different sections of the standard that support certification of both the product/component and
system testing of industrial cybersecurity.
