Job Description

Purpose

The Head of Finance works closely with various internal stakeholders such as the procurement
team, operations team, and commercial team to ensure that finance strategy is in line with the
company's strategic plans. This role requires a deep understanding of financial reports,
forecasting and strategic decision making.

The Head of Finance is responsible for leading the finance strategy, financial operations,
reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. The candidate has a deep
understanding of the data center industry and financial best practices.

Role Profile.

• Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, aligning financial goals and
policies with overall business objectives and long-term growth plans.
• Provide strategic financial guidance and decision support to executive leadership,
including investment analysis, capital allocation, and risk management.
• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury
management and financial reporting.
• Lead the finance team in preparing accurate and timely financial statements, reports,
and analyses for internal management.
• Establish and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure
compliance with regulatory requirements, relevant laws, and accounting standards, and
oversee audits and financial inspections as required.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to optimize financial performance and
support operational needs.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and marketing, to
provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Conduct financial modelling and analysis to evaluate investment opportunities, assess
risks, and drive strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate the annual budgeting and planning process, working closely with
department heads to develop realistic and achievable financial targets.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of

excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including
investors, lenders, auditors, and regulatory agencies.

Experience / Qualifications

• Proven track record of leadership in finance roles with minimum 10 years of


experience in a senior finance role, preferably within the data center or technology
industry.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, including strategic thinking, decision-making, and
team management.
• Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting software.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial
data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions, as well as translate financial
data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Extensive knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate challenges, develop innovative
solutions, and drive organizational change.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to accuracy, integrity, and
transparency.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
• Experience with financial systems and software, such as ERP systems and financial
modeling tools.
• Experience in Group consolidation requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to ethical conduct in all financial matters.
