OBJECTIVES
The College through its intensive training become an agent for the development of students to;
1. Contribute to the improvement of community life, help eradicate illiteracy and social problems.
2. Develop moral character by inculcating in the individuals the ideals of proper conduct and effective personality, the concept of moral laws
and their values.
3. Became an effective conveyor of organized knowledge which has developed from human experience through the ages.
4. Be an effective promoter and facilitator of learning that will enable the learners to develop to the fullest their potentials for a continuing
pursuing of self-education; and
5. Possess the fundamental knowledge, habits, skills, abilities, attitudes and ideals that are generally regarded as essential for the unification
and integrated of democratic society.

Course Description BTIs covered


This course shall include pedagogical content, knowledge and skills in technology and livelihood education 1.1.1, 4.1.1,
necessary in teaching and learning in the elementary level. Selected topics in agriculture, industrial arts, fisheries, 4.5.1, 5.1.1
and livelihood education and entrepreneurship shall form a major part of the course. The students will learn
appropriate teaching and assessment strategies and techniques including preparation of fruitful and usable projects
that can be utilized in teaching TLE in the elementary grades. This course will utilize project based and experiential
learning approaches.
