Sub: Invitation for participation in 'GREEN Olympiad for Youth (GO4Youth)' – an

online Examination

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I am sharing a copy of the UGC circular regarding participation of students in GREEN
Olympiad4Youth (GO4Youth), conducted by TERI. Participation in this Olympiad is a
step towards enhancing awareness about environment issues. Students in the age
group of 18 – 25 years and enrolled in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in India
can register for this MCQ-based online examination. The content of the examination
is aligned with the curriculum framework for Environment Education at
Undergraduate program (announced by UGC). Students can opt for appearing in the
Olympiad either in English or Hindi. A detailed tutorial outlining a step-by-step

All participants will receive e-Certificates endorsed by UGC, MoE, MoEFCC and TERI.
Cash awards and other incentives will also be given to top-performing students.

We request you to kindly share this information with students enrolled in your
institution and display the poster in prominent locations in the campus to enable a
larger participation. Registration deadline is February 25, 2024. Post registration,
online sessions will also be held to prepare students for the Olympiad.
