 ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the individuals and

organizations that made our internship experience both educational
and enriching. Their guidance, support, and mentorship have been
invaluable throughout the duration of this internship.
We are deeply thankful to Madam Vishakha Maniar , Naveen Sir and
Madhu sir whose constructive feedback and expertise played a
pvotal role in making this project a huge success. We extend a
heartfelt thank you to Madam Swati Patel , who gave us this amazing
opportunity and continually supported us.
It is important to note that any errors or limitations in this report are
my own responsibility. The insights and experiences gained during
this internship would not have been possible without the collective
support and mentorship of the individuals and organizations
mentioned above.
Once again, thank you to all those who have played a role in making
this internship program a valuable and transformative experience.
 ABOUT THE SCHOLASTIC INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

SIP or Scholastic Internship Program is an intiative taken by the

Scholastic to inculcate the habit of reading and encourage young
minds to enter the world of books.
The students participating in this project had to start and run a book
club. The students were guided by the experts on how to start a book
club , how to carry on the promotion activities , how to make it
interesting and so on.
After 3 online sessions of delibearation and discussion on the
execution of the book club – “ Inklings Unbound” , offline activities
commenced.
SIP was a very creative and interesting way to generate curiosity ad
eagerness in the young and raw talents for reading. Apart from
benefitting the students, it also benefitted the interns at work by
honing their management , leadership , finanacial , marketing skills
and other valuable skills.

EXECUTION
1.Description of the Online Sessions:
§3 online sessions were conducted by Madam Vishakha Maniar , Naveen
Sir and Madhu Sir:

a)The first session was an introductory session at the end of which we

were given the assignment of creating a plan for starting our own book
club.
b)The second session was marked by the interns presenting their plans
and vision of the book club. Every member of the book club was assigned
a specialised role and the name and motto of the book club were decided.
c)In the third and the final session, the interns updated the mentors on the
activities of the book club , the intiatives taken by the members to
popularise the book club etc.
