ABSTRACT

This study utilized a descriptive-qualitative approach, specifically employing

a descriptive phenomenological design to explore and gain a comprehensive

understanding of the Scaffolding My Student Nurse in Clinical Practice: Clinical

Nurse Support Student Nurse. Ten clinical instructors were recruited for participation

and interviews were conducted to collect data. Through content analysis and

thematic analysis of the interview transcripts, the study identified three major themes

related to scaffolding student nurses in clinical practice. Within these themes, three

subthemes emerged, including return demonstration, providing moral support and

praise, and giving reinforcements and scaffolding.
